Beautiful Music

Hello there and welcome to my world (mmm very Jim Reeves).  Well the waters have broken and they have been to hospital twice and sent home both times!! If nothing happens by this evening it will be a C Section so fingers crossed it will be all systems go before then!!

I have been too busy to craft apart from a simple card that I made half a dozen of but didn't photograph as I was in such a rush to get them out.  So my card for today was one I made for my husband's birthday in October:

The image is by TLC creations and has been coloured with Copics and then cut and matted with Spellbinders with the edges being distressed in Distress Ink.  The music die is a Memory Box and the buttons are from my stash.  Here is a picture of the inside:

the sentiment comes with the image.  I bought him a ukulele for his birthday so I thought the image was perfect ( I know its a violin but I couldn't find any images of ukuleles lol)!!

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafty Creations - Wise Words
Here Come the Boys = Anything Goes

A quick post from me for today.  Today I am off to the gym very early, hairdressers, meeting an old work colleague and then the pub for tea - where did that day go???

Hope you all have a good one, thanks so much for calling by and take care!! xx

Oh that is so lovely Susan, very masculine! Your DH must love this for sure (would love to hear him play on his ukelele, lol!). And swoon... just love Jim Reeves' music, too! They don't 'make them like that' anymore these days ;-) Hugs, Ira xox

What a fabulous card Susan, I love the vintage design. My son plays a ukulele - he plays anything with strings actually, did your husband like his card and present?
Have a great weekend.
