Good morning, I hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend wherever you are! The weather yesterday was lovely and sunny in Blackpool my DH got the grass cut and some much needed tidying up done in the garden! I was busy in the house getting preparations underway for the arrival of my gorgeous grandsons, son and DIL later on today!
We have a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and we want to see your cards without any patterned papers on! Here is mine:
I have used a cute acrylic stamp from Ladybug Craft Ink which I won in my mega box of candy from Susan (thank you again)! She has been coloured with my Copics and I added some Glossy Accents to the glass and Stickles to the bubbles which I don't think you can really see on this picture (and boy is that crooked)!! I cut her out with Spellbinders Ovals and matted her on Beaded Ovals. The pretty beads around her are lovely IRL, very iridescent. I embossed the Centura Pearl and matted it on some Coredinations pink card stock. The letters are cut with foam which I coloured with my Copics to match. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, very satiny just gorgeous!
For some more inspiration please go over to Card Makin' Mamas and see what the rest of the DT have done. Please remember we are a card making challenge so we want to see your cards! We are sponsored this week by
Well I have scheduled this so hopefully it will come up ok - fingers crossed. I am now going to schedule my DT posts for next week. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I know I will! Thank you so much for looking, take care xx

Not an Easter Card
Good morning to you all and for those of you celebrating I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend. I am so excited because my son, DIL and two adorable grandsons are coming up tomorrow for a whole week! I am in a state of high excitement - not sleeping, rushing around like a headless chicken and driving my other half mad!!
For my card today I have gone with CAS style and its not even an Easter card!!
The image is DSB Sketchy Flower 3 which I printed straight onto my Papermill Direct Linen card. I also printed the image several times onto some Nitwits paper from the Good Hare Day Collection and then 3D onto the image with some silicone gel. I really am enjoying adding a bit of 3D to my cards when I can and this image was perfect for it. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat which I also printed straight on, then rounded the corners. Just a bit of twine and a button finished it off. I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz - Happy Birthday
Dutch Dare Challenge - CAS
Creative Creations - Letter B (Button, Bow, Bloom, Birthday)
Digi Darlas - Flowers
The Pink Elephant - Clean and Simple
That's all for me today! I have to go and check some more things of my list and schedule my DT posts for next week! Thank you so much for looking and if you have time please leave a comment! See you tomorrow, have a great day - take care xx

Another Easter Card
Good Morning and I hope you are all rested and raring to go after your weekend! I am not going to go on about how cold it is as I think it is here to stay for a while so I will just have to put up and shut up as they say!!
Now I seem to have had a thing about Easter cards this year and I have made rather a lot. I think everyone I know will now be getting an Easter card lol! So here is another (and I have more to post - just warning you):
I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for the layout I really like their sketches so I may be doing another one with this sketch this week. I have used two digi images from Digi Stamp Boutique: Easter Branch and Flower Border, they have been coloured with my Copics. I used Grand Nesties Oval to cut out the image and the mat around it has been made with my EK border punch. The border is Dienamics and the butterfly is Memory Box. The sentiment is also Digi Stamp Boutique I think it came with the Easter Branch image, I have cut it out with my Lil' Inker Stitched Pennant. The papers are Nitwits, Good Hare Day and pink cardstock is from Papermill Direct as is the white hammered card I used to make my card blank.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
The Squirrel and the Fox - Easter or Passover
Crafty Calendar - Easter Eggstravagansa
Dis Digi Designs - Easter/Spring
Crafty Sentiments - Flowers Galore
Papertake Weekly - Easter Treats
Papermill Direct - Easter Card
Well I finished my friend's invitations over the weekend so she is coming to pick them up today - one more thing to cross off my list. I just have eight DT cards to do then I have done them all until May, although May seems closer now than when I started them lol! I hope you are all alright wherever you are and had a lovely weekend. Thank you so much for coming by its always lovely to see you. See you tomorrow, take care xx

Get Well Soon
Good morning to you. Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Delightful Challenges. The theme this week is:
GET WELL SOON
Such a handy card to have in your stash you never know when you may need one! Here is what I have made:
Now I must admit I got my challenges a bit mixed up and thought this was A Card For a Man challenge so I went with a plain and simple design without embellishment! For my card I have used the adorable Doctor Dan available here and Feel Better Sentiment available here. He does remind me of the junior doctors that used to come onto the ward, usually half asleep and in crumpled clothes and tousled hair! I have coloured him with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents which I think you can just about see. The papers are by MME 'Wild Asparagus' with some Coredinations cardstock. I have used my Spellbinders to cut and mat and my Edgeabilities for the border. Just some Card Candi which has been coloured to match with my Copics and I also added some Glossy Accents to them.
Our sponsor this week is:
Robin's Nest have kindly donated a $15 gift certificate to their store for the lucky winner!
Please pop over to Delightful Challenges to see what the rest of the team have made, there are some fabulous creations there!
Blogger has been a real pain in the neck this morning not opening things that I usually use! I hope it gets a move on when I do my visiting! Thanks for coming by today I really appreciate it! See you tomorrow, take care xx

They all had to go in the bin and I had to start again!! Today I am off to the gym in an hour (early bird catches the worm) then I am taking my aunt out for lunch. I hope you all have a good day wherever you are. Thank you so much for looking, I will see you tomorrow - take care xx

3D Easter Card
Good morning to you all. Its bitterly cold here in Blackpool there was such an icy wind yesterday so I am staying in today!
I have made an Easter card for my aunt and done a little bit of 3D on it. I really love the cards that Debby from A Scrapjourney does so I thought I would have a little go. Now I only did a small part of my image but it did take forever to do!
The image is Hydrangea and Butterfly by Stitchy Bear (they have a sale on all week). I coloured it with my copics and then printed out 3 more copies and coloured various parts and layered them up with silicone glue. I added the sentiment to the middle before I printed it. I used some Stickles to the butterfly, I should have added another layer to him but when I realised this I had already printed the images and couldn't remember what size I had made them! The gingham paper is Pink Petticoat. Here is a side view:
My aunt always likes to read the words in a card so I found a nice verse and printed that off on some pearl paper for the inside.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Glitter n Sparkle - Easter/Spring Colours
2 Sisters Challenge - Flowers for Spring
A Gem of a Challenge - Easter/Spring
Di's Digi Designs - Easter/Spring
Sweet Stampin' - Easter
Digi Haven - Easter
Polkadoodles - Happy Easter
Stempelsonne - Easter
Well I intend to have a full day crafting today apart from some baking and cooking for the freezer in preparation for Easter. I am trying to get all DT work done until May so from 22 cards I have 8 left to do! I hope you have a wonderful day whatever you are doing. Thank you so much for calling by and take care xx

Special Female
This is what happens when you get up at 3:30 in the morning - you forget to post! Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Lexi's Creations and the theme this week is Mothering Sunday or A Special Female. I know we in the UK have already celebrated Mother's Day but a lot of countries have yet to celebrate it. If you don't want to do a Mother's Day Card that's fine just make a card for a special female - mother, gran, daughter, sister, aunt you get my drift! As I no longer have my mother I have done a card for someone special:
Quite a simple CAS card really. I used Lexi's DIY Butterfly which I printed straight onto the linen cardstock. I also printed another on some Pink Petticoat gingham paper and cut it out and put over the image on the card. The sentiment is computer generated and printed straight onto the cardstock. I used a corner punch which I got in my yummy candy from Susan - thank you! Some pearls from my stash to finish.
Our sponsor this week is:
who have kindly donated five digi images from their store.
Please pop over to Lexi's Creations and see what the rest of the DT have done. Please remember that we are now limiting entries to 2 so that it is fair for everyone.
Thank you for looking today, sorry I was late! Take care xx
Help Please!
Please could one of you kind bloggers help me? I need to create a sticky post and being the numpty that I am I can't remember how to do it! I know its dead easy but for the life of me I can't remember how to do it. Thank you xx
Edit - thanks Mandy I think I have done it!!

Good morning everyone. It sure is cold here such a bitter wind although its lovely and sunny! I'd like to say a big welcome to my latest follower Nikki! Well I seem to be on a theme of thank you cards at the moment so here's another one:
The image is a digi by Stitchy Bear called Darling Daisies and I have coloured it with my Prisma Pencils although I must admit I don't really like how it turned out. I love the paper its a digi from The Paper Shelter so I actually got the image because I thought it matched the paper well. I have used my Joy Craft die for the daisies with some Card Candi in the centre which I coloured with my Copics. The tag and hummingbird are Cheery Lynn dies. The ribbons is from my stash.

Last week I made a big batch of bolognaise sauce and today I am going to make a tagine and lemon roulade although I think I need to get a move on as there is only just over two weeks to go!! I am so excited to have my little bundles of gorgessness up here for a week!
Thank you so much for looking, see you tomorrow and take care xx

Last week I made a big batch of bolognaise sauce and today I am going to make a tagine and lemon roulade although I think I need to get a move on as there is only just over two weeks to go!! I am so excited to have my little bundles of gorgessness up here for a week!
Thank you so much for looking, see you tomorrow and take care xx

Thank You Card
Good morning to you all and I hope you are all well today - if not then I wish you a speedy recovery. Did you all have a nice weekend? I hope so, don't they go fast? I have made a thank you card for my daughter and her partner for making such a lovely meal and spoiling us both on Saturday night.
The image is a rubber stamp and I'm afraid I don't know who its by. I was going to organise all my rubber stamps into CD cases so I bought 50 of them and then only did about 4 and decided I wan't that keen on the idea. This set is one of the ones I did, I put the name of the set - S.W.A.L.K. - on the outside but didn't put the make! The sentiment comes with it, I think this is the first time I have used the set too and it is several years old!! I have coloured her with Copics and added some Stickles for a bit of glitter. She has been cut and matted with my Spellbinders and the sentiment banner is also Spellbinders. The border has been made with my Edgeabilities and the flower is by Joycraft. I don't think you can see too well but I have used a script stamp on the top part of the flower. The ribbon was on a Body Shop gift pack that my daughter's partner Nishe gave to me on Saturday night. The papers are Pink Petticoat digis. I have kept it fairly simple as I am going to post it. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Stamptacular Sunday - To Die For
Thanks for looking today I really appreciate it! See you tomorrow, take care xx

Face the Sunshine
Good morning and Happy Friday! Have you got any plans for the weekend? With it being Mother's Day on Sunday here in the U.K. we are going over to my daughter and partner's house for a meal tomorrow night and staying the night! Other than that a quiet weekend, I am trying to get as far ahead with DT work as I can.
Here is my card for today which I have made for Unity's Friends with Flair Friday following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.

The papers are digital Echo Park Sweet Day and Coredinations card stock. I have used Spellbinders Grand Nesties Ovals to cut the image and she is matted on Spellbinders Floral Ovals. The corner die is Cuttlebug, the felt flower is a Marianne die as is the Topiary tree.
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Delightful Dotty
Good morning everyone! For those of you in the U.K. hasn't it been nice to have some lovely weather for a change. We managed to get out in the garden and do some tidying yesterday and Dave got the lawn cut too. Seeing the crocus and snowdrops and even the occasional daffodil out always makes me feel so happy - Spring is on the way! Phantom was brilliant I really cannot recommend it highly enough if you have never seen it. I have been walking around the house with my headphones on singing at the top of my voice to the soundtrack since we got home - poor Dave as I have a voice like Hilda Ogden!!!! We went for a nice Spanish meal in the evening and a leisurely breakfast in the morning all good fun!
Well Mr. Mojo has really done a runner on me this week. I really want to make a card I come up to my craftroom look at my stuff and - nothing!! So I am eeking out the cards I have to show you until he decides to make an appearance again. Yesterday it was my turn to be the Hostess over at Digital Delights. I decided to make criss cross cards so here is one of the ones I made:
I used Delightful Dotty, Delightful Oz Coloured background and Dream Sentiment Set all available here. Dotty has been coloured with Copics. I have added some Stickles to the edges of her dress and lots to her red shoes. The papers are some really old ones I have had years and years, I think they were just about the first pads I bought maybe from QVC. The flower is made with a Memory Box die Fabulous Phlox. I have used my Grand Nesties to cut and mat and my Edgeabilities for the border. The ribbon and yellow gem are from my stash. Here is a view of the inside:
I have used my Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page Punch - Cherish. I put the sentiment over the background and then printed it, that is about as far as I can go with digital images! Here is another shot:
Well that is about it from me for today. Dreaded housework this morning then we are meeting a friend and her little girl for lunch. I am hoping Mr Mojo may oblige and I can do a bit of crafting otherwise it will be ironing mmmmm! Thanks for looking today, take care xx

Good morning and here we are at Friday again! Have you anything nice planned for the weekend? My DH and I are going to Liverpool tomorrow to see Phantom of the Opera - I love love love it! This will be about the fourth time I have seen it and I always have it playing up here in my crafty garret. We are staying over and have booked into the Hilton and booked a meal in a Spanish restaurant for the night - can't wait.

I stamped it with Memento ink and coloured with my Copics. I have added Glossy Accents to the glass bottles you can just about see the shine. I have cut and matted with my Spellbinders. I stamped the sentiment which comes with the stamp directly onto the cardstock - my third attempt, the first was upside down and the second had some black ink on the edge of the stamp which went onto the cardstock. The paper is Basic Grey called Marjolaine and I have used Dienamics Bracket Edge Die for the edge.
