Let's Get Sparkly

Good morning hope you are all well and if not I wish you a speedy recovery!  Last night we went to see Wicked at The Palace in Manchester and it was totally Wicked! Really enjoyed it, we went on the train to save driving so it was a bit late when we got back.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers and the theme for this challenge is Sparkle.  Sadly this will be my last challenge with the team as I am stepping down but I would like to thank them all for having me!  Here is my card, I have gone for another joy fold - they are a bit like buses aren't they? lol!

I have used Ellie and Squeak and coloured with Copics and some gems added to the hat.  I coloured the mirri card behind the image with my Alcohol Inks so it would blend in a bit better with the papers.  The papers are digital from The Sweet Shoppe.  I used Whiff of Joy star banner for the banner with glitter card.  The sentiment inside is Penny Black stamped in Brilliance.

and another view

That's it from me today!  I am taking my Aunt out for lunch today we have not been out for a few weeks because of my holiday and then grandchildren sitting.  Speaking of which baby Rafe who is 9 months old swallowed a penny the other night! You need eyes in the back of your head don't you?  Thank you so much for looking and any comments you may leave, take care xx

Oh my goodness, what a thing to happen, hope little Rafe wasn't in too much discomfort and it was gotten out quickly. His poor mum must have got an awful fright.
love your card, I do love these folded cards and your images, lovely papers too, have a great day, hugs Kate X

my dad is stable, thanks for asking… but every now and then he takes a turn for the worse… so it is emotionally quite draining… but I'm enjoying my crafting again… it really cheers me up and helps me unwind! :-))
I hope baby Rafe is ok!! yes it is amazing what they can get up to when you take your eyes off them for just one second!!!
Hope you have a lovely weekend
Big hugs

This is a pretty card Susan, such a cute image and lovely papers.
My son swallowed a marble when he was a baby - his older brother was playing with his marble run, you just can't keep your eye on them every second can you!

Aawww, don't they look cute together! Lovely image and so beautifully coloured, too. Hope baby Rafe is doing fine again, I once swallowed an end stop of a curtain rail when I was about the same age and my mother just kept feeding me spiced gingerbread until... well, you know... ;-) Did you enjoy lunch with your auntie? take care, Ira x
