Good morning mid-week already! Its raining and miserable here in Blackpool and I think that is the forecast for the next few days bleh!
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and it is the A Team's turn to show you our Shabby Chic! Not a style I do regularly but I seem to have hit a run on them and I must say I quite enjoyed doing them so watch this space! Here is my card:
I have used The Paper Shelter image Vintage Phone which is available to purchase here. Don't forget when you purchase a Paper Shelter image not only do you get the uncoloured version but you also get a coloured version and backing papers too! I coloured the image with my Copics and Spica pen. The papers are Raspberry Road and I have distressed the edge and also added a bit of acrylic paint. I have used my Whiff of Joy Heart banner also with some acrylic paint. The image was cut out with Spellbinders Ovals and matted onto Floral Ovals which had the paint treatment too! Cheery Lynn Sophias border across the middle. Some cheesecloth and Wild Orchid flowers to finish. Here is a side view:
As usual we have a very generous prize up for grabs:
Please go over to the challenge to see what the rest of the super talented DT have done!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Cards Galore - Flowers
Natalie and Amy - Shabby Chic
Chocolate Coffee and Cards - Flowers
Crafts For Eternity - Anything Goes
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Sweet Pea Stampers - Purple Power
Dave and I are going out to lunch with a friend who just had a baby about 4 weeks ago. She has a little 3 year old daughter too so we are going to go to a pub that has a soft play area attached so she can have a play. Thank you so much for looking today, I will be back tomorrow! Take care xx
