Inspiration

Hello and a big Happy Mother's Day for all you Mums in the U.K., hope you get spoiled today.  My daughter and Rowan are coming to take me out for  dinner later on, we are going to a restaurant in Lytham and they have some live music as well so should be fun.

Today is my turn to make an Inspiration card for Buckwell's Crafty Challenge and the theme for this month's challenge is "Flowers".  You can find the challenge here and you have just over two weeks to enter.

I have used Coco from this month's sponsors A Lil Digi Heaven. I coloured Coco with my Copics and the papers are Nitwits "Good Hare Day".  I followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday for my layout. I fussy cut the image out and then put her on a mat embossed with a Spellbinders Embossabilities folder "Dotted Flowers" and cut and matted using Spellbinders. The flower and leaf are Marianne dies.

We would love to have you join us for our challenge so please link up here.

Hello and a big hurrah as we welcome March in, Spring is really on the way now. As it is the first of the month we have a new challenge starting at Buckwell's Crafty Challenge.  We want to see flowers!!

Lots of flowers here lol!  I have used Coco very kindly given to us by our sponsors this month:

A Little Digi Heaven, thank you.

The papers are all digital and available here from Buckwells. I used Micro Dots, Its Stripes and Funky Flowers.  The gorgeous ribbon is 10 mm double sided ribbon available here from Buckwells.  Those pretty flowers are Cosmos and Sweetheart Blossoms which are available here, I coloured the Cosmos with my Copics and added some Stickles.

Please check the challenge out here for all the details of the prizes as I am scheduling this and not sure of what exactly the prize is - I will try to edit this when I get back (if I remember!).

I covered the Love Rush with Little Claire's adhesive glitter sparkle to add some glitz.  I used Martha Stewart PATP heart punch for the border.  The ribbon is also from Buckwells, Bordeaux Organza Ribbon available here.

Here is a better picture showing the glittered paper:

Happy New Year

A big Happy New Year to you all! I hope 2015 is a wonderful year for all my blogging buddies! I have been very quiet here over the Christmas period. Just chilling with all my family - we had a wonderful time.  I am scheduling this as my son and grandsons will be here for the New Year.  Today sees the start of a new Challenge at Buckwell's Crafty Challenge and we are kicking off 2015 with everyone's favourite of Anything Goes!!

I have used this adorable image called Sonja from our very kind sponsored A Little Digi Heaven and she is available here. I coloured her with my Copics and then cut her out.  The papers are First Edition and I used a new heart die I got for Christmas by X Cut. I must say it cut really well, with intricate dies like this I always use a metal shim but I couldn't find it and it cut through on the first run!  The gorgeous ribbon is from Buckwells available here its so lush and shiny on both sides.  I used a mixture of Sweetheart blossoms and Cosmos Daisies also from Buckwells and available here. The pins and pearl stamens are from my stash.  I also added a Memory Box corner bow but not sure if you can see it that well!

Please head over to Buckwell's Crafty Challenge to see the rest of the DT work and all the details, hope you can join us!

Lets See Your Ribbon

Wow the first of November I seem to have lost several months along the way!  I have to take down my Halloween decorations today and I have already started planning my Christmas ones!  I had a lovely time with my daughter and Rowan she stayed an extra day so didn't go home until yesterday afternoon.

As it is the first of the month I have two DT cards to show you today, this is the first and I will be back shortly with my next one.  This is my card for Buckwell's Crafty Challenge and it is our second challenge so if you haven't joined in yet please head over here to the challenge.

I have used a lovely image from our sponsor this month A Lil Digi Heaven called Rock A By. I coloured her with my Copics and added some Chunky White Frantage.  I cut the image out with my Dienamics Oval Stax and matted her onto Spellbinders Floral Ovals.  The papers are scraps laying on my worktop and are probably Nitwits.  The corners were made using a Joycraft die and the banner is a Whiff of Joy die.  The sentiment was also lying around on my worktop I am pretty sure its Pink Petticoat, I cut it out with a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner and inked it whilst it was in the die with Spun Sugar DI.  The heart is made with air dried clay and a mould and I used some gilding wax on it.  The beautiful ribbon is from Buckwell Crafts Supplies.

A Lil Digi Heaven is offering the winner 3 digis from their shop.

The second random winner will win some ribbon from Buckwell Craft Supplies

Over at Buckwell Craft Supplies the dies have been reduced plus you get an extra 10% off from 1st November until 8th November

Please head over to our challenge and have a look at the other DT work and check out the few rules we have.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Good morning wishing you all a Happy October!  I have some exciting news to share today there is a new challenge starting:

Challenge Badge

Buckwell's Crafty Challenge starts today with everyone's favourite theme of Anything Goes.  I was thrilled when Lozzy asked me to part of her Design Team so naturally I said yes!  Lozzy has started her very own on line Craft Supplies:

Buckwell Craft Supply has lots of fabulous crafting goodies including some beautiful Organza and Satin Ribbons which you can win this month.  The ribbons can be found here.

To celebrate the new Challenge there will be FREE DELIVERY from 8AM Friday 3rd October until MIDNIGHT Sunday 5th October.  Now onto my card:

I think the image is Tiddlywinks, she has been coloured with Copics.  Papers are digital that I had printed on my desk so sorry can't remember the name but I am sure they are from The Sweet Shoppe. This beautiful satin ribbon is from Buckwell's Craft Supplies and can be found HERE.  I used Dienamics Pierced Round Stax to cut the image out and matted her on black using Dienamics Pinking Edge Circle Stax.  The border is an EK Success punch and the flowers were made using a Tonic punch.  The butterfly is Memory box and the sentiment is by Pink Petticoat using Dienamic Fishtail Stax to cut it out and layering it onto Cheery Lynn Horizon Fishtail Banners.

Please go over to the challenge and say Hi to all the Design Team and we would love you to become a follower too!
