Photo Inspiration

Good morning! Today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and we have a photo to inspire you with your work:

I took some of the colours - green, lilac and the reddy brown - to use as my inspiration, here is my card:

I have used the gorgeous Namaste from The Paper Shelter which is available here.  I coloured Namaste with my Copics.  The papers are Nitwits Possibilities.  I used a Cheery Lynn die for the background trellis and Sweet William.  The edging is a Dienamics die.  Spellbinders for the ribbon banner and mat.  Marianne for the heart doily.  I did my sentiment on the PC and the sparkly centre of the flower is from The Hobby House.

Here is another view:

Wish I could still fold my legs like that!  Head over to The Paper Shelter Challenge to see the rest of the fabulous work by the DT. And don't forget the fabulous prize for one lucky winner:

Thank you so much for looking today and the lovely comments you leave. Take care xx

I think I recognise that pub front, I pass it on the way to the M56!
I've been having problems on blogger too, just as you say but it seems to have cured at the moment! Could access my personal blog but not design teams. Great card by the way. :)

I adore purple and green together. It's one of my favorite combinations. I also LOVE polka dot ribbon, button and any polka dot embellishments. This is a beautiful image, sweet, clean lines, and just looking at her makes you feel relaxed. You've captured the serenity of the image with the colors and papers you chose, too. Wonderful diecuts. This is so pretty! Hugs, Gail
