Hello there hope you had a lovely weekend. I was lucky enough to be asked to be a Guest Designer for TokBobok and was given one of their new images to work with. The challenge is Monochromatic and here is my card:
I have colourd the image with my Copics and cut her out using Dienamics Pierced Circle Stax. The balloons have been paper pieced. The mat is a Spellbinders and so is the border. The balloons are a Lil' Inker die and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
Here is another view:
A big thank you to TokBobok for having me as Guest Designer and such a fun image to work with!
Sorry if I have bot been round to see you yet. I am having serious problems with my PC going slow! Dave is buying me a new Mac for my birthday (lucky me) and I am trying to sort everything out to transfer. This is a real nightmare if you are not very computer savvy and this PC is a Sony Vaio so it will be a whole new ballgame for me!
Thank you so much for visiting me I really appreciate it, take care xx

In The Pink
Good morning hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Its lovely and sunny here in Blackpool at the moment! Over at Hobbycutz we see the start of a new challenge and the theme this week is Pink! We are sponsored by Aurora Wings and I was given the beautiful Masquerade Owl to play with - thank you! Here is my card:
Isn't she gorgeous? There are some fabulous images available if you have not seen any before its certainly worth having a look. I coloured her with my Copics. I cut the image out with Dienamics Ovals Stax and made a frame using the dies. She is matted on Spellbinders Floral Ovals. The paper is Craftwork Card as is the flower and post card. I stitched around the edges (I know its very wonky lol). The leaf flourish is a laser cut from Hobbycutz which I have painted with some acrylic paint to match the card. I thought I would go for a softer pink for my card. Here is another view:
I don't know is anyone has noticed but the paper pads from Craftwork Cards say 6 x 6" on the front but they are actually 5 and 6/8" square hence my large borders!
Please go over to Hobbycutz and have a look at the rest of the DT work for some more inspiration.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Petals and Pearls
Addicted to Stamps - Anything Goes
Just Inspirational - Anything Goes
Ladybird Crafts Ink - Anything Goes
Thank you so much for looking today I hope you have a wonderful day! Take care xx

Today is a Thursday and that means time for another Delightful Thursday over at the Digital Delights Blog. Unfortunately it is time to say goodbye to some members of the DT as it is the end of the design year there, its been lovely to work with such talented girls. Here is my card:
How cute is this fish! She is called Lovely Fish and is available here and the sentiment is from Happily Ever After Sentiment Set available here. I coloured her with my Copics and then cut her out and mounted her on sticky foam pads. The sentiment was cut out with a heart die (I think Nellie Snellen) and then inked with Peacock Feathers DI. Papers are Echo Park Splash and the border was made with a Dienamics Mini Scallop Edging border.
Here is another view:
Don't forger over at the Delightful Challenges there is a new challenge starting and the theme this week is Seize the Daisy (white and yellow and/or use a flower). A fabulous prize for the lucky winner a $15-$20 value surprise package from Magnolia-licious. Remember you have to be in it to win it!
Challenges I would like to enter:
Well I have actually got a couple of quiet days for a change so I am hoping to catch up on some much neglected DT work! Wish me luck. Thank you so much for calling in to see me I really appreciate your visit and any comments you may leave! Take care xx

I should really have titled this post World Cup Chills as England are now out of the cup! Anyway life goes on. Today I am hosting at Digital Delights Blog and I have gone with a World Cup 2014 theme. I used cute little Soccer Scottie which is available here along with Sports Sentiment set which you can get here. First up:
TEAM BRAZIL
Then its:
TEAM NETHERLANDS
and finally last but not least:
TEAM U.S.A.
They have all been coloured with Copics. Dienamics were used to cut and mat the images with Spellbinders Grand Nesties Scalloped Oval for the bottom mat.
Well good luck to all the teams left in the World Cup. If you would like to look at some more of Wendy's fab images take a look at her shop here.

Time for Another
Hello there and hope you have something nice planned for the weekend. We are having a quiet one, probably have a BBQ later as it is beautiful weather.
Thought I would remind you about the challenge at A Little Bit Crafty which this month is Child's Play. I was lucky enough to receive a set of acrylic stamps from one of our sponsors, Woodware, so thought I would make another card with it:
Stamp and images from Woodware. The papers are Bo Bunny On The Go and I used Dienamics Blueprints for the layout.
Here is another view:
So have a look at the challenge at A Little Bit Crafty for all the details - we have three sponsors!
Thank you so much for looking today, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Take care xx

Oooh La La!
Good morning, its lovely and sunny here in Blackpool we are having glorious weather at the moment long may it continue! Today we have a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and our theme this week is Anything But A Card! Now I have been very pushed for time these last few weeks so I decided to use on of The Paper Shelter images that has been pre coloured and went for a simple tag:
I thought this new image from The Paper Shelter was just perfect to go on a bottle of vino! She is called Si Belle and is available here. Paper is from Raspberry Road and I used a Spellbinders die to cut the label out. I coloured the seam binding with Distress inks and it looks a lot better IRL not as splodgy! I added some flowers from Wild Orchid and an Eiffel Tower charm from my stash.
I placed it on quite an old bottle of wine that my Sister's partner gave to my husband. Her partner is German and there is a lot of rivalry between him and Dave about football. The wine is about 30+ years old but the reason he gave it to my husband is that the bin no. (I think that's what it is) is 1966 - the year England won the World Cup!!
Don't forget there is a fabulous prize available:
Please pop over to the Paper Shelter Challenge for all the details and to see the rest of the DT work there are some fabulous projects!

Father's Day/Male Card
Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments. The theme this week is Father's Day/Male Card. As I no longer have my Father I have gone for this:
I have used Dayna Elephant which is available here from Crafty Sentiments Designs. I coloured Dayna with my Prismas for a change but not sure if I am happy with the result. The papers are Nitwits and I paper pieced the balloon and bow tie. I used SB Grand Nestie to cut the bottom of the card shape. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat which I enlarged and printed directly onto Papermill Linen cardstock.
Here is another view:
Hmmm think I may make another in pink for a baby girl. We have another great prize this week:
Remember you can have up to 6 chances of winning with your project just by using a Crafty Sentiment image and being a follower of the Inspirations Blog! Please pop over to the challenge at Crafty Sentiments to see what the rest of the DT have done.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Simon Says - Father's Day/Masculine
Cardz 4 Guyz - Male Birthday
Ladybug Crafts Ink - For Him
Papertake Weekly - For The Boys

For A Friend
Good morning, did you have a nice weekend? We had a fabulous one. My son bought up my two beautiful grandsons for the weekend. On Saturday we had a BBQ and my daughter, partner and Rowan came as well as Dave's daughter, husband and Emma and Max came and it was lovely - quite chaotic but lovely! I wanted to get a picture of all three grandsons together but didn't get round to it. Yesterday we went to the beach before they set off back to London, I have a couple of pictures at the end.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and the theme this fortnight is For A Friend. Now my card is for my best friend whose birthday is next month (she doesn't look at my blog lol) because the image reminded me of her. When I made the card I thought the theme was for someone special, hence the sentiment.
Isn't this the cutest image! Its Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat Range called Chelsea. I coloured her with Copics and some Stickles. I bought the stamp at Bolton Arena the other week and saw the embossed acetate on a sample there and really liked it. The embossing folder is also from the same range and I have gone round the edge of the bubbles with Stickles. Papers are Nitwits Hey Cupcake. I used my Sizzix die for the Rosette, Martha Stewart border punch, Just Rite Labels 2 for the sentiment and Spellbinders for the image and mat.
Here are some more views:
We are sponsored by Fairydust Crafts so please pop over to Lexis and see the rest of the DT work.
Here is a picture of Harrison at the beach:
he got totally soaked but just loves playing in water, needless to say I got soaked too!
Couldn't get a good one of Rafe at the beach so here he is having his lunch afterwards:
Now I must dash I am going over to my daughter's today. Promise I will catch up with you all later! Thank you sooooo much for looking, take care xx

Surf's Up
Good morning hope your week is going well and a big thank you for all your good wishes for Dave yesterday. His bone scan was clear and his blood results were only slightly up which is all good news. It means he doesn't need to start his next lot of treatment just yet. He will have a further CT and Bone Scan in October so we are keeping on with our Positive Mental Attitude. Also my daughter is starting to feel better so it was cause for celebration in our house last night! We know Dave still has the cancer but the longer it goes before spreading the better it is and we intend to get on with life!
Today sees another round of inspiration from the DT over at the Digital Delights Blog and it also coincides with a great new release. Here is my card:
I got to play with the gorgeous new Beach Babe Britt which is available here. I coloured her with my Copics and added Glamour Dust to her hat. The papers are a variety of digital ones I cut using my Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders to look like sand, sea and sky (hopefully. The starfish is a button I have had for ages I cut the shank off and glued it on. The little vial I filled with micro beads to look like sand. Just some little banners and twine to finish off.
Here is another view:
Please take a look at the rest of the release and DT work at The Digital Delights Blog. Also, today sees the start of a new challenge at Delightful Challenges and the theme this week is All Tied Up with the winner receiving a $10 voucher for Scrapyland.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Divas By Design - Red White and Blue
Hambo Hoedown - Here Comes Summer
Paper Pretties - Hip To Be Square
City Crafter - Nautical
Creative Card Crew - Nautical
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Summer
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes Optional Theme Summer
Thank you so much for looking and any kind comments you leave. My daughter is bringing Rowan over today and we are going out with my Aunt. Have a wonderful day wherever you are! Take Care xx

Flower Power
Hello there and a big welcome to Vicky my latest follower - thank you so much Vicky for following me. This is a scheduled post as Dave and I will be at the hospital first thing to see his Oncologist and he will be giving us the last bone scan results and discussing what's next.
Today sees the start of a new Challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme this week is Flower Power this should be easy enough I think! Here is mine:
I used the gorgeous Fantasy Perfumes and as I was a bit tight with time I used the pre-coloured image. The die is by Die'sire called Decadence and I went over the embossed parts with Spun Sugar DI. Flowers are MB Phlox and Cheery Lynn Medium Roses. The paper is Pink Petticoat you can just see it peeking through.
Here is another view:
Well actually the same view just different coloured background!
As usual there is a fabulous prize up for the lucky winner:
Please head over to The Paper Shelter Challenge to see the rest of the DT's work. Thank you so much for looking today, take care xx

Hold On Tight!
Good morning I certainly hope you had a lovely weekend and are all refreshed for the week ahead! A big welcome to my newest follower Kitten Kraftz what a gorgeous picture of a kitten!
When I took my Aunt and her friend to the hospital their friend was worse than we expected and so we didn't stay too long as she didn't recognise them. Its such a shame as she is 5 days older than my Aunt (92) and was living independently, going on holiday and meeting up with my Aunt and another lady each week for whist. She has no children either so I don't know what will happen to her. I think that living to a ripe old age is not so good if you don't have your health. My Aunt is quite fit but crippled with Arthritis so I have to take her out in a chair and I do her cleaning each week, her son does her shopping. My Aunt's other friend that I took to the hospital is 89 and very mobile, she goes out every day on the bus and goes to WI and managed really well to climb into the back of my two seater car. If I could be like that I'd be happy!
Well enough of my waffling and the reason I am here is to tell you about a new challenge at Hobbycutz. This week the challenge is NOT to use any Design Paper - eeeek! Here is my card:
Our Sponsor this week The Stamping Chef very kindly gave the team images to use - thank you! I have this little cutie called Barn Brat which I coloured with my Copics. I trimmed the edge of my Burlap with Spellbinders Edgeabilities. I put the Kraft card through an embossing folder that had been swiped with Brushed Corduroy DI. The cattail die is Spellbinders I thought it looked like the hay in her mouth! The little tag is Docrafts which I stamped and added some twine and a horseshoe charm from my stash. The lasercut is available from Hobbycutz and I stamped it using Versafine ink.

Kobie is getting some more designs into the shop here is a sneak peek:
