For The Man in Your Life

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexis Creations with the theme being For The Man in Your Life.  Here is my card:

The stamp is Kanban and sentiment Pink Petticoat. Papers are Nitwits.  Here is another view:

We are sponsored by Fairy Dust Crafts this fortnight.  Please go over to Lexis Creations to have a look at the rest of the DT work.

Big apologies to everyone for not visiting the last few days.  I am really struggling with my crafting and blogging at the moment and I feel a bit down.  Too much has been going on in my life with the worry of my daughter over the last few months and the even bigger worry with Dave.  He has his next bone scan next week and although I think it will be alright this time it is still very difficult to have to live with it.  Our cat has been ill and keeps going to the vet and each time he goes he seems to get worse.  He had two visits there last week, one overnight stay for IV fluids but is still not eating and looks a mess.  I think he must have a tumor either on his tongue or in his mouth.  On a brighter note Rowan seems to be taking feeds a lot better and will be weighed today and I feel quite positive he will have put weight on.  Thanks for bearing with me - I see I have lost a follower - I will catch up with you all soon! Thanks so much for looking and listening. Take care xx

Sending you a great big cyber hug Susan. Sometimes life throws so much at us that even crafting doesn't help you through when your trying to be strong for everyone else. Hope you manage to catch your breath soon and perhaps your designer teams on the challenge blogs could allow you some time off from deadlines to lift some pressure off your shoulders. You've created a lovely card with one of my favourite male stamps for this challenge though. The ripple strip sets it off perfectly. Take care.

Big hugs are going to you..
I know you are, and have, been having a hard time these last few months..I think a light bulb goes on when our children are born and it never goes out! regardless of what age they are.. I'm at my happiest when I don't hear from ours, which means things are alright,...although I'm always there for them if needed.
Hope everything is okay with Dave A week is such a long time when you are waiting.
Take care thinking about you x

Oh, it sounds like you have so much going on at the moment, no wonder you are feeling a bit down. I hope that Dave's bone scan goes okay. I am really sorry to hear about your cat, it's horrible when our beloved pets are ill so my heart goes out to you.

Hello Susan, sorry to hear you are a bit low just now, but you're allowed to be, so much going on with your family, lot's of concerns there. I will keep you and Dave in my thoughts and hope his scan goes well. Your wee cat certainly sounds very ill, pets just break your heart when they are ill, good news about Rowan though, so pleased.

Your card is gorgeous, I love this stamp, beautifully designed and great colours, take care, hugs Kate x

Fab masculine card!

Don't you ever worry about visiting me. I am not the best at visiting regularly. I try to catch up all at once but blogger has given gyp lately and freezes my comment leaving after a post or perhaps allows two.
Sorry to hear your are feeling down. I think it is probably due to everything you described, but I prescribe a bit of spoiling for you and Dave too, if he is up to it. Perhaps a lovely evening out together, somewhere that you feel pampered!!!
