This is my second post today please scroll down for my Sassy Thursday post.
Happy Halloween to you all! I think I am a bit Halloweened out now and I have one last Halloween card for you today although this one is far too cute to be spooky. Over at The Digital Delights Blog we have Delightful Thursday for you with some more inspiration from the talented DT. Here is my card:
Now how un-spooky is this little cutie? He is called Candy Corn Kiddles and he is currently on sale at Digital Delights here for just $1.00! The sentiment comes in the Spooky Sayings Sentiment Set along with 7 others and can be found here at Digital Delights. I coloured him in with my Copics. He has been cut and matted using Spellbinders Grand Ovals and Grand Scalloped Ovals. The tiny borders are Cheery Lynn Tiny Expandable Borders and I printed the sentiment straight onto the linen cardstock.
This week at Delightful Challenges the challenge is to use the colours purple and green with the lucky winner winning a $10.00 gift certificate to Digital Delights! Please go over to Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the talented DT have created.

Happy Birthday
Good morning to you all I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. For those of you in the UK I hope you stay safe in St Jude's Storm. It is lashing it down here at the moment but I don't think here in the Northwest we will be too badly affected by the winds.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and we would like to see your project to celebrate a Birthday. You have almost two weeks to enter. I thought I would have a play with some of my Spellbinders dies:
I used a combination of Spellbinders Adorning Squares and Exquisite Circles - first time outing for both. The background was cut with SB Botanical Swirls (only the second time I had used it). For the card itself I used Go Kreate XL Frame Frilly #1. The sentiment is Craftwork cards and the gems and ribbons from my stash. Here is another view:
Please go over to Lexi's Creations to see what the rest of the DT have done. Our sponsor this week is Fairy Dust Craft with a voucher for the lucky winner.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
The Squirrel and The Fox - Pink
Crafty Hands - Anything Goes
Moving Along With The Times - Shape Up
Creative Challenges - Anything Goes
Card and Scrap - Anniversaries
Bunny Zoe - Ribbon
Craft-Dee Bowz - Anything Goes
Thank you so much for looking today and I really appreciate it when you take the time out to leave a comment I know how time consuming it is. Take care xx

Two Fat Ladies
Hello again I am back with my card for the new Hobbycutz challenge. Please scroll down to see my earlier card. This week we are following a Bingo card, hence the name of my post, here is my card:
I don't usually embellish my cards with a lot of flowers but I have done a few lately for DT work and quite enjoyed it. I have used an image from this week's sponsors Crafts and Me called Twilight Lily Fae and what a joy to colour in with my Copics. The flourish at the bottom is a beautiful Hobbycutz laser cut which I first painted with acrylic paint then added Frantage Aged Rose the butterfly at the top right also had the same treatment. Kobie has loads of fabulous lasercuts available really reasonable prices - you can check them out here. It actually has flowers on but I thought it would look pretty with the flowers from WOC on it and I also added some pearls. The paper is Prima Meadowlark and I have used Centura Pearl card too. For the base of my card I used SB Grand Decorative Labels One and I cut and matted the image using SB Stately Circles and Grand Circles and then distressing the edges with Spun Sugar DI . The sentiment is Waltzingmouse and I used a Cheery Lynn Tags 2 die to cut it out, ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
Here is another view:
Here is the Bingo Board, I tried to use all of the squares but when I photographed I realised I hadn't used the button! You can use any line - horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
Please go over to the challenge and see the beautiful creations the rest of the team have made.
Thank you so much for looking today and any comments you may leave. I will be back tomorrow - busy DT week for me this week! Take care xx

Christmas Bird
Good morning to you and hope you are ok this Tuesday morning. I have been awake since 4 and up since 5 this morning so bear with me if I nod off!
I have had a few images from Sweet Pea that I have been wanting to colour in and finally got round to doing one yesterday. This is Sweet Bird by Elaine Cox from Sweet Pea:
Its a very dark morning today so I have had to play around with the photo in my photo editing software and this is the best I can do. I coloured the image with my Copics adding lots of Stardust Stickles. The image was then cut out with Spellbinders Circles and matted onto Centura Pearl cut with Spellbinders Tear Drop Circles. I cut out a doily in silver card using Cheery Lynn Priscilla Doily. The sentiment is Waltzingmouse stamped with Faded Jeans DI and cut out using Labels 4 and distressed with Broken China DI. Frosty border by Memory Box down the side and the holly leaves are a Marianne Die. Chunky white Frantage on the card corners and I also used Shabby White and Steel Blue Crushed Glass on the flowers. The papers are First Edition Silent Night - love this pad! You can just about see I used my MS Cherish Border Punch. Here is another view:

Winter Skates
Good morning to you all! Today at the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations Blog sees the start of the previews of the new releases available at Crafty Sentiments on the 22nd. There will be 8 new stamps and new dies! Today we are showing the beautiful Winter Skates:
Isn't she just the cutest? I loved colouring her in with my Copics and adding Stickles to the trim and a touch of Glossy Accents to the ice. The papers are October Afternoon Holiday Style I thought they were perfect with her. I have used a Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder on Centura Pearl for the back ground. The sentiment is Pink Petticoat cut out with a Marianne die and distressed with a bit of Broken China DI. The image has been cut out with SB Grand Ovals and matted onto a mat cut with SB Grand Decorative Ovals One. The snowflake is cut with Whimsy Winters Jewel and SB snowflakes die (? which one), I added Frantage Shabby Blue to the spacer and popped a pearl from my stash on the top - all the layers are seperated with foam squares to give extra dimension. Here is another view:
If you go over to the Inspirations Blog you will see more beautiful creations made with Winter Skates including some very special Guest Designers!

Breaking News.....
Good Morning again. This is my second post, for my Delightful Thursday post please scroll down.
I am so pleased to say that I am now a Sassy Girl!! I have joined the talented team over at Sassy Studio Designs. For the next two months I am thrilled to be posting projects for the Dare To Be Sassy Thursday Challenges!! Our theme for this weeks DTBST 199 Challenge is Support Your Team we want to see your team's colours or even your high school colours. Well our local team is Blackpool FC and their colours are tangerine and white which didn't really do much for me. Dave is an avid Manchester United supporter and we have been quite a few times to see them play so I decided to go with their colours:
Now that's one Sassy Santa! I have used Santa pin-up which is available at the store here. I decided to go for a CAS look and Santa has been coloured with my Copics with Stickles Star Dust added to the trim. She has been cut and matted using Spellbinders Grand Nesties. The border punch is Martha Stewart. The Centura Pearl has been embossed with Embossalicious folder. The sentiment is Waltzingmouse stamped directly onto the white linen card.
I don't have another picture of the card but thought I would show you a picture of one of their players in the kit:
now I know he's a fashion icon but didn't realise how well colour coordinated he was:
Sigh!
You don't have to use a Sassy image to enter but we love to see one and if you use one you can enter twice. You have until next Wednesday night to enter and be in the chance of winning two Sassy images. Please go over to the Thursday Challenge and see what the rest of the Sassy team have done for more inspiration.
Challenges I would like to enter:
ABC Challenges - Under The Tree
Sweet Stampin' Christmas - Cards for Men
Digistamps 4 Joy - Embossing
Simon Wednesday Challenge - Christmas/Happy Holiday
Craft Your Passions - Embossing
Digi Makeover - Clean and Simple
C.R.A.F.T - Christmas

Good morning pop pickers! Hah I have always wanted to say that. Those of you of a certain age and living in the U.K. will remember Tony Blackburn saying that at the start of his shows - everyone else will not have the foggiest lol! This is the last day of my dog sitting my sister will be round shortly too pick them up.
Today sees a brand new challenge at the Paper Shelter and this week's theme is Two Colours. Mmmmm quite a challenge but we only want to see two colours (skin tones are ok as extra). Here is my card:
The image is called In the Twenties and I have been dying to colour her for ages! She is available here either coloured or not and comes with some lovely backing papers too. I coloured her with my Copics and then cut and matted her with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles distressing the edges slightly with Brushed Corduroy DI. The papers are Prima Melody and the border has been made with my SB Edgeabilities. The flourish is Marianne and the pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is LOTV and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl. Here is a side view:

HALLOWEEN
Let's see all your projects for that spooky time of year. Here is mine - not too spooky:
I have used the super cute Jasmin the witch with her two cute familiars which is available here. I coloured one of the cats to look like my Harry in fact the look on his face is very similar to the one Harry gets just before he scratches you! I coloured the image with my Copics and made her look like she was flying through the air by cutting a circle out using my Nesties. The papers are Fancy Pants 'October 31st'. The bats are a Memory Box die and the skyline is Dienamics. Here is a side view:

Ding Dong Bellls
Good morning to you all! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! We are half way through with out dog sitting and so far so good. Harry our cat is keeping them both in order.
Today sees a new Challenge at Hobbycutz and it is Team 1's turn so that means me! Now the title of my post may lead you to think of Christmas bells but no its Wedding Bells - our theme this week is Wedding! Here is my card:
I have used the image Wedding Dreamer which is from one of our sponsor's this week Digi Stamps 4 Joy. She has been coloured with Copics. I cut the image out with SB Grand Nestie Oval and edged it with a Gold Krylon Pen. The image was then mounted on some gold embossed foil card which had been cut with SB Grand Nestie Ovals One. I used a Hobbycutz laser heart which I first painted with Martha Stewart Satin Acrylic then added some Frantage in Chunky White and Shabby White and then some Bedazzles in Jazz. I finished by randomly sticking some gems and pearls on it. There are some fabulous lasercuts that Kobie has over at her store here. I used a MS PATP for the edges of the card which is made with Centura Pearl. The backing paper is a gold embossed vellum and I used some very old peel offs to edge it. The flowers are a mix of Kaisercraft and Wild Orchid Crafts. The spacer behind the heart on the ribbon I also covered with Frantage I originally got the spacer from E Bay. Ribbon, heart and dove are from The Ribbon Girl.
Here is another view:
We have two sponsors this week Digi Stamps 4 Joy and Limited Run. Please go over to the Hobbycutz Challenge to see what the rest of the team have made. Remember we are now a weekly challenge!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Paper Creator's Crafts - Dies or Punches
Sugar Creek Hollow - Romance
HobbyHouse - Roses
Pattie's Creations - Ribbon
Inky Impressions - Glitter and Sparkle
Whimsy Inspires - Shabby Chic/Vintage
Bearly Mine - Ribbon, String, Twine
Top Tip Tuesday - Flowers
Oldie But A Goodie - Bingo (Ribbon,Flower, Embossing) Old things I have used: Peel offs must be getting on for 10 years, Vellum had this for years and years and Bedazzles which are almost antique and first time I have used them!!
Vintage Stamping - Feminine Beauty
Thank you so much for looking today and any comments you may leave. I am off to prepare Brunch now as I have family coming over for it. Yummy Kedgeree, Red Flannel Hash, American Pancakes with Maple Syrup, home made Blueberry Muffins, sausages, bacon and - of course - Bucks Fizz! Better get a move on!! See you tomorrow, take care xx
