Rubber Stamps

Good morning to you and happy weekend! I hope you have something nice planned, here in the UK we have a long weekend as it is a Bank Holiday on Monday.  We actually have nice weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday.  I am off to the Trafford Centre with my daughter this morning for a spot of retail therapy!  Doing some shopping for our holiday which is just two weeks away - that really crept up on me!  Tonight we are going to a BBQ and then nothing planned for the rest of the weekend.  What are you up to?

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and the theme for this challenge is we want to see your Rubber Stamps. Remember we are a card making only blog so any card with some stamping using rubber!  I had to dust mine off as I seem to be using digi only at the moment, here is what I made:

The stamp is a Bildmalarna 'Little Winged Friends on Walk'.  She has been coloured with Copics with Glamour Dust added.  The felt heart is a Dienamics die 'Hearts a Plenty'.  I have used SB Circles and Beaded Circles for the image and mat and also the flower is SB from the Homespun set.  The sentiment is LOTV and the heart banner is LOTV.  Ribbon and pearl from my stash.  The papers are Nitwits, I think Life's Little Lemons.

Our sponsor this week is

Please go over to Card Makin' Mamas to see what the rest of the DT have done.  I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes with Ribbon

That's all from me, have a fabulous weekend and thank you so much for popping by! Take care xx

Good Morning Susan,
Love this beautiful card, that image is so sweet and the colouring wonderful, great layout.
Enjoy your shopping, hope you get lots of nice things. Hazel and I go on holiday next Friday. I have bought "nothing" for it. All the clothes I had for our holiday last September have not been worn since then. They have been washed, dried, ironed and hanging up to go in the suitcase Thursday evening. More to money to spend while away!!!!
Happy Weekend

Sounds as if you have a great weekend planned, enjoy your shopping trip. I'm off to Iceland in three weeks and all I've bought is a woolie hat in a sale, imagine buying that for a summer holiday.
Have a wonderful weekend, Kate x

Lovely colouring on this one again Susan and the Nitwit papers compliment it perfectly. Their papers are brilliant if you want to use two or three to co-ordinate on a project and these ones are so fresh looking. Hope you have a fab shopping trip and a lovely weekend.

Love this rubber stamp image...she is adorable...what a sweetie! You have coloured her so beautifully too!

Thanks for the comment tonight! I do love a good bargain...and now that DH is retired those bargain searching skills will come in handy. We still want to travel and have fun so no use tearing through my cash on card supplies! teehee We are coming to England in August for a month.
We used to go every two years but i wan't able to travel for the last 4 years so it has been 6 years for me.
DH has been the alternate years and brought me back lots of pictures! We were in your neck of the woods 6 years ago as I wanted to see the Christmas lights...it was a hoot and DH wanted to golf at Lytham St something's.
Off to sleep as I babysit tomorrow and 5:30 am comes early!
