Good morning, did you have a nice weekend? We had a fabulous one. My son bought up my two beautiful grandsons for the weekend. On Saturday we had a BBQ and my daughter, partner and Rowan came as well as Dave's daughter, husband and Emma and Max came and it was lovely - quite chaotic but lovely! I wanted to get a picture of all three grandsons together but didn't get round to it. Yesterday we went to the beach before they set off back to London, I have a couple of pictures at the end.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at
Lexi's Creations and the theme this fortnight is For A Friend. Now my card is for my best friend whose birthday is next month (she doesn't look at my blog lol) because the image reminded me of her. When I made the card I thought the theme was for someone special, hence the sentiment.
Isn't this the cutest image! Its Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat Range called Chelsea. I coloured her with Copics and some Stickles. I bought the stamp at Bolton Arena the other week and saw the embossed acetate on a sample there and really liked it. The embossing folder is also from the same range and I have gone round the edge of the bubbles with Stickles. Papers are Nitwits Hey Cupcake. I used my Sizzix die for the Rosette, Martha Stewart border punch, Just Rite Labels 2 for the sentiment and Spellbinders for the image and mat.
