For my card I have gone totally CAS:

I have used the fabulous Cat Woman Sassy with Greg's Lion Attitude Sentiment.  She has been coloured with Copics and then some simple matting and layering.

Splish Splash

Hello again! Time for a brand new Challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and the theme this fortnight is Splish, Splash quite apt for us in the UK with all the rain we've had so far this year.  We want to see your cards made using your Mists, Sprays, Paints, etc. Now this was way out of my comfort zone I'll tell you.  Here is my card:

The image is Froggy Stack by High Hopes Stamps coloured with my Copics.  I cut the image out with Dienamics Pierced Rectangle Stax.  The Centura Pearl cardstock has been embossed for the background.  Paper is Nitwits and Coredinations.  The flower is Dienamics Plentiful Petal with their Mini Scallop Border.  For the label I used Go Kreate Die and flicked some Twinkling H2Os over it as I don't really do much with paints and sprays, the sentiment I did on my computer.  Twine and butterfly from my stash.  Here is another view:

Its an amazing world nowadays isn't it?  As I am writing this I have my I Pad in front of me and I am watching my nephew's graduation ceremony live from the U.S. Navy over 2000 miles away!

Let It Be was wonderful last night, we went for a meal at a Turkish restaurant first which was delish washed down with a couple of glasses of wine.  Home on the train, a great evening.  No I am going to have to get ready because I am going out with my friends for dinner and drinks tonight in Lytham.  Tomorrow night Dave and I are going out for a Greek meal with some friends.  I feel I will be wined and dined out by Sunday!

DTCall The Paper Shelter

Good morning to you all.  Just a quick head's up to let you know The Paper Shelter are holding a Design Team Call from 7th March (today) to 20th March.

They are a fabulous team to work for and some gorgeous images for you to work with.  If you have applied before and were disappointed at not being chosen I would apply again it took me two tries before I was accepted.

Delightul Thursday

Good morning to you hope your week is going well, it will soon be weekend again.   Today sees another Delightful Thursday over at Digital Delights and as it is the first Thursday of the month we have a new release to show you.  Here is my card:

I have had the super cute Jemima Bunny to play with she is available here. The sentiment is Digital Delights from the Spring Sentiments Set available here. The paper is from the new Pastel Perfect Paper set which comes with 12 digital papers in available here. I coloured my image with Copics and cut it out with Spellbinders Grand Nesties using Circles and Scalloped Circles to make the Easel Card.  The Sentiment was cut out using Dienamics Stitched Rectangle Stax. Ribbon, butterfly and flowers from stash.  Here is another view:

Over at Delightful Challenges this week the new challenge is Colour Crazy - use a colour you don't normally use.  The lucky winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to Dies R Us.

I am taking my Aunt out this afternoon then coming back tout suite as Dave and I are getting the train into Manchester having tea and then going to the Palace Theatre to see Let It Be.

Spots and Dots

Good morning to you all. Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Crafty Sentiments and this week we want to see SPOTS AND DOTS. Here is my card:

I have used the gorgeous Twinkle Fairy which is available here. She has been coloured with Copics and I added some Glamour Dust to her wings and made some Pearls with Viva Decor.  The papers are Pink Petticoat.  I cut the image out using my Dienamics Stitched Oval Stax and matted her onto Spellbinders Floral Ovals.  I used my Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page Punch - Cherish for the background mat.  The card blank is Craftwork Cards and the sparkler is from The Hobby House, ribbon and spacer from my stash.

Mother's Day at Lexis

Good morning its lovely and sunny here today long may it last!  Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and the theme this fortnight is Mother's Day, it will soon be Mothering Sunday here in the U.K. Here is my card:

I decided to use some DIs in different colours and use my DI applicator.  It turned out ok but I need a lot more practice.  The stamp is by Inkylicious and I used Spellbinders to cut and mat it. The quote I found on the internet and printed it directly onto white linen card stock.  Ribbon and pearl heart from my stash.  Here is another view:

Time to Celebrate

Here is my card:

I used Happy Hour by Kenny K one of this week's sponsors - thank you.  She has been coloured quite simply with Copics to match the paper, I added some Glossy Accents to her glass.  The paper is Echo Park Hybrid "Happy Days".  I used Dienamics Stitched Rectangle Stax to cut the image out and their Fishtail Stax to mat the sentiment which is by Cheery Lynn.  The beautiful heart is a lasercut from Hobbycutz which is available here.  I painted the heart with Acrylic Paint then painted it with Glossy Accents so it is nice and shiny like a lacquered one in real life.  Here is another view:

Well I didn't get any housework done yesterday, by the time I got back from dropping Dave at the train station and shopping I wasn't in the mood.  I have to do it all today! Are We There Yet?

Good morning to you and thank you so much for coming by to see me and all the lovely comments, they are lovely to receive.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at A Little Bit Crafty and the theme this month is Are We There Yet?  How you interpret it is up to you as long as we can see the theme.  I see it as meaning travel i.e. modes of transport or holidays or foreign lands.  I always remember saying this to my Dad every five minutes when we were traveling in the car, this was in the days before I Pads, DS, DVD players, mobile phones etc when all you had to keep you from getting bored was a book or a game of Eye Spy! Here is my card:

I have used Monster truck from Digital Delights and coloured it with my Copics and some Glossy Accents to the window and lights.  The papers are Bo Bunny On The Go.  I used Dienamics Stitched Oval Stax and Oval Stax to mat and layer the image and Dienamics Lead the Way for the arrows.  The gears are Tim Holtz Mini Gear Die with some silver Card Candi in the middle and my reflection on the top one lol. The gear embossing folder is also Tim Holtz by Sizzix.  Here is another view:
