Its a Whopper

Good morning to you all.  Thank you so much for your kind comments about my daughter and her scan.  She had the scan on Tuesday so I got to see my little grandson.  Rather than not developing enough it would appear the opposite is true!  They now think he is on the big side so she is going to be tested for gestational diabetes.  My son's first son, Harrison, was a 10lb 9oz baby so she has been a bit taken aback to say the least!!  As long as they are both healthy that's the main thing but I am not getting anymore clothes as I remember Harrison going straight into 3-6 month clothing and he is now in age 5 and only 3!!

As today is the first Thursday in the month that can only mean one thing:  New Release Day at Digital Delights!  We have both a sporty and an Easter theme going on in the new releases.  Here is what I had to play with:

The delightful Cheerleader Samantha, Mix Them Up Digital Paper Set and Sports Sentiment all available to purchase here.  I coloured Samantha with my Copics and then cut her out.  I made an aperture in the card with my Spellbinders Grand Nestie Circles, framed it with SB GN Scalloped Circles out of mirri card and put the DP behind.  Cut the sentiment out with a SB Circle and used the star circle nestie to mat it.  The stars are also from the same set.

Here is another view:

Over at Delightful Challenges this week the theme is Anything Goes with a $10 store certificate to Scrapyland for the lucky winner.  Please pop over to the Digital Delights Blog to see the rest of the new releases by the super talented Design Team.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafting By Designs - Anything Goes
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Digi Makeover Challenge - Anything Goes

Well I have had another night of not sleeping, been awake since 12:25 why I always wake up at that time I have no idea! Didn't get up this time but stayed on my I Pad until 545 and then still couldn't sleep. Afraid I'm going to be a bit of a zombie today. Taking my Aunt out for lunch then to a Doctor's appointment.

Thank you so much for looking today I really appreciate your visit! Take care xx

Great news about your daughter and the baby, exciting times.
Beautiful card, great image, colouring, and design.
Not sleeping is a problem I have. I tend to do lots to keep me busy even if it is during "the wee small hours"
If I get 4 hours good sleep in 24 I am fine and can cope.
Have a great day

Hi Suzie,

This is beautiful, love the design and image, which you have coloured in so well. The backing paper reminds me of the SB Jute flower die, not sure if I have the name right but I am sure you know which one I mean lol!

A gorgeous card Sue. The image and colours look fab.
Glad all went well for your daughter. I guess Harrison is going to be tall. I just bought Emma some tights in a size 9-10yrs and she's only 6! My sons the same, everytime I buy them new clothes they grow another inch!
Costs me a fortune trying to keep up with them!
Enjoy your day

So glad your daughters scan went well, I have just had a basket to make up for a baby shower and was asked to put 3-6 months things in as it's going to be a big baby, Anna whom I nanny for is only 11 but is 5ft.4ins in height, I do think children are taller these days.
Another beautiful card love the colours, hope you have a better night tonight. Hazel xx

Glad to hear your daughter is doing ok Susan, health is the main thing! And it doesn't matter if your grandchild is going to be so tall, being a small one like I am has its disadvantages I can tell you, lol! Love your card, what a sweet litle cheerleader. Wonderful colours and design.
Gosh I do sympathise with the sleeping thing, I'm lucky if I have 8 hours in the week, at times I don't know how I function. I hope you get your sleep pattern back soon, hugs Kate x

Hope things continue well for your daughter Susan xx
I know the sleep problem well.....lol I am a dreadful sleeper, the secret is get up make a hot milk and go straight back to bed with it. They say that you should always stop using the PC at least one hour before bed. It seems the light from the monitors effect the brain! I wonder if it could be true as I sleep better now I shut down earlier.
Fabulous card!!
Hugs Mau xx

Glad to hear the good news. You must both ne so relieved.
I hope you manage to get a nap today. That is not fun. Perhaps something is waking you up...I kept waking up at a certain hour too and finally figured out that the neighbour kid had got a shift work job and I was waking to the sound of him slamming his card door.

Perhaps it is something like that...Once I knew it seemed I woke up less...

Your little cheerleader card is a cutie. Cute image and wonderful papers and design.
