Re-cycle It!

Good morning to you! I am very proud to announce that I have been invited to join the talented team at Hobbycutz! This is my first project for them unfortunately I was unable to put any of the fabulous laser cuts on as I had to make my card before they arrived as I was going on holiday! I can hardly wait to use them too!! The theme of this challenge is Recycle so I took myself off to our recycling bags and dug this out:

I then ran it though my Big Shot Pro using a Spellbinders Floral Ovals die:

And here it is on my card:

I used the pretty image from Crafts and Me called The Tailsman.  She has been coloured with Copics and some Twinkling H20s to the tail to give such an iridescent sheen.  I also stamped around the edges of the image with an Inkadinkado wood backed stamped on which I had painted the Twinkling H20s.  For the mat I painted it first with acrylic paint then added lots of Frantage in Shabby Blue.  The paper is MME Stella and Rose.  The Anchor is a Dienamics die from the Sea Charm set which I also covered in Frantage as well as the flat backed pearl in the middle of the MB Corner Bow.  The cheesecloth was covered in a variety of inks, scrunched up and glued and I added a shell from the beach so I guess that counts as a bit more recycling too! Here is a side view:

We were lucky to receive these gorgeous images from our lovely sponsor this week:

Please go over to Hobbycutz Challenge and give a big welcome to the rest of the Design Team both old and new!

I will be back shortly with my second post today!!

Right now I will be probably getting ready for my Champagne Brunch in LV!! Thanks for calling, take care xx
