A Bundle of Joy

Good morning bloggers hope you are all well.  I wish it would get lighter in the morning it seems to be getting darker if anything.  You can see the difference now in the evening but I can't see any yet in the morning.  Speaking of the evening our starlings are back!  I must try and get a picture to show you them, there are hundreds and hundreds and they all fly by at about 1645 each evening its magnificent to see them all especially in my craft room which is an attic conversion so I feel I am up there soaring with them!!

Today's card is one I  made for my best friend's sister who has just had a baby boy:

and the inside:

The image is by Pink Petticoat and I paper pieced the pram and just very lightly coloured the rest of the pram and parasol and added a slight colour to his cheeks.  The gingham paper is Pink Petticoat. I used Martha Stewart Cherish PATP and then embossed it with a hearts embossoing folder.  The heart bows are Memory Box.  I have used Spellbinders Nesties for the image, sentiment and mats.  The stork is Spellbinders.  The sentiments are computer generated.  Ribbon, pearls and twine from my stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Digital Tuesday - Hearts
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Heartstrings
Artisitic Inspirations - Embossing
Love to Create - Celebrate
Sentimental Sundays - New
The Squirrel and The Fox - Something New
 A Gem of a Challenge - Gingham

Well I am just going into town today to buy a present for the new arrival - don't you just love new baby clothes?  I think they are so gorgeous, tiny and soft and snuggly - yummy!  Whatever you are doing have a good day, thank you so much for taking the time out to visit me and I will see you tomorrow - take care xx

Yes, shopping for baby clothes is so fun. There is a fancy, shmancy baby shop just about a mile from my house. Oh what fun it is to wander around there and have a look.
