Delightful Thursday

Its time for another Delightful Thursday over on the Digital Delights Blog when the DT showcase some of the fabulous images available over at the Digital Delights Store.

My image comes from the Luau Accessories Set available here and you get plenty in the set:

I coloured it with my Copics and added lots of Glossy Accents to the glass. The sentiment is a Cheery Lynn die and the umbrella is a Memory Box die which I paper pieced.  I added a border using a Martha Stewart punch.  The pretty papers are My Mind's Eye On The Sunny Side.  I added a toothpick and bead to the umbrella so it looked more like a cocktail umbrella.

Please take a look at the Digital Delights blog for more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.  Thank you so much for looking today and the lovely comments you leave they are so much appreciated.

Bollywood Princess

Hello and thank you all for your wonderful comments welcoming be back into the blogging community and what a wonderful one it is too!! You are all so kind words really fail me, its so funny as I feel I know you all so well yet we have never met!

Well onto my card today which is made for Digital Delights Blog for Delightful Thursday which gives the DT a chance to work with some of Wendy's fabulous images.  As it was the new release last week I have made a card using the new release image I was given to work with, and what a delight she is!

Now this is the first time I have tried to colour Asian skin and it didn't help because one of my Copics decided to go 'sticky' on me! Actually IRL it looks slightly better the editing seems to have highlighted the mess I made lol!  Anyways the image is called Princes Simi and is available here.  As I mentioned I coloured her with Copics and cut and matted her using Spellbinders Grand Nesties.  I printed the sentiment straight onto the paper.  The sentiment comes from the Happily Ever After Set which is available here.  The papers are digital from DDE Damask.  The border is Cheery Lynn Anastasia.  Now I painted all the gold bits on the image and the mat and border with Twinkling H2O in irredescent gold which looks lovely IRL but the camera has not picked it up well.

Have a hop over to the Digital Delights Blog to see the rest of the DTs work they are a very talented team!!
