Slumber Party

A big welcome to my blog and thank you for calling by!  I had a wonderful and exhausting time in London with my two Grandsons.  Back home to a very wild and windy Blackpool.  It was so windy during the night I got up a few times to make sure everything was still intact!

I have my last card as part of Beccy's Place Design Team, my that six months has flown by!  I would like to thank Beccy for having me on the team and giving me the chance to work with her fabulous images.  My card is from the new Sleepover Set which is available here.

I coloured the image with my Copics and used Victorian Velvet DI whilst it was still in the Spellbinders Oval Die.  The papers are Nitwits Bumbleberry.  I used Spellbinders Lacy Ovals to mat the image, Dienamics Fishtail Stax and Memory Box Precious Stars.  The border was made with a Martha Stewart border punch.

Good morning hope you are well, if not wishing you a speedy recovery!  Its that time of week when a new challenge starts over at The Paper Shelter. Our theme this week is "Spring Delights" yes its just round the corner now, definitely lighter nights and buds on the trees.

I have used the adorable Spring Attitude which you can get here.  I coloured her with my Copics and used some chalk for the background. The paper is First Edition "Hideaway."  I used Dienamics In and Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle and the sentiment inside is Clearly Besotted. The banner is La La Land, I can't remember what the flower is as I had made it a while ago and used it on this paper but the leaves are made with a Floral Punch.  I must have used my Spellbinders Curved A2 borders on the card front.

Hello and a big Happy Mother's Day for all you Mums in the U.K., hope you get spoiled today.  My daughter and Rowan are coming to take me out for  dinner later on, we are going to a restaurant in Lytham and they have some live music as well so should be fun.

Tweet and Flowers

Happy Friday the thirteenth - eek! I'm not really superstitious being quite happy to walk under ladders etc however I asked Dave to have a look at my umbrella as I am going out and its pouring down here.  I asked him to try and fix it out in the wash house as  I didn't want to risk putting up and umbrella in the house on Friday the thirteenth.

Today's card I made following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I do like joining in as I love sketches and last week I was thrilled to be picked in their Top 3.

I used this cute little Tweet and Flowers from Digi Stamp Boutique which I coloured with my Copics.  Paper is Doodletime as are the Sprinkles in the lower left corner which you can just about see!  I used my Dienamics Blueprints 20 and Pierced Squares. I think the sentiment is Clearly Besotted but not sure.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Sketch Saturday - Sketch

Card Mania - Spring

Thank you for your wishes for Dave yesterday the check up went ok and next one in June. I am off to meet some friends for a girly lunch today. Thank you so much for looking and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello and I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We are having a very relaxing one. We went to our local village this morning for a bit of shopping and breakfast then home and I have been doing a spot of crafting.

We are going to Dave's daughters tomorrow so I have bought her a little present and decided it was high time I used my X Cut bag die which I got for Christmas.  This is my first attempt and it looks a lot nicer in real life - honest!

I used a Spellbinders die for the floral panel and some Heartfelt Creations flower stamps with white embossing powder cut out with the matching dies.  The leaves are Marianne die and the butterfly is Memory Box and I covered the butterfly in Glamour Dust.  The little flower and leaf on the tag is Spellbinders and the butterfly is Impression Obsession.
