I coloured her with my Copics and she took an age to colour!  I added some Glossy Accents to the glass flask, brooch, her eyes and the snake's eyes. I used Go Kreate XL No 1 frames for the card shape and mat.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out using Spellbinders Ribbon Banners.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid and I coloured the purple ones with my Copics. The paper you can just see is Basic Grey Marjolaine.  I edged around the image with Weathered Wood DI and used a corner rounder punch on the corners.  I also added some black webbed ribbon and a plastic spider from Home Bargains.

Spirit of Christmas

Hello there hope you have had a good weekend and all ready for the week ahead.  I have been helping my sister pack her house as she is moving this week - geez she has a lot of stuff!

Today I am sharing a card made with one of Beccy's new releases for October called The Spirit of Christmas:

Its such a lovely image with the pretty script behind it.  I have coloured with my Copics and added some Liquid Pearls to the centres.  The paper was lying around loose so I have no idea of where it came from but loved the soft shade of green.  Quite a simple card, I made a frame by using Spellbinders rectangle dies and the tag is also a Spellbinder but I don't think its made anymore.  The sentiment comes with the image and I added a little star gem to the i in Christmas.

A little close up of the image:

Here is what the set looks like:

You get all the images and sentiments, the images come both coloured and plain for you to colour in. They are available here.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Fairytale Stamper - Something New (the image and sentiment)
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Use Something Forgotten/Not Used (Mine is the paper)
Sister Act - Anything Goes

That's all from me for today. Thank you so much for looking and the lovely comments - all appreciated as I know how time consuming it is.  Take care xx

Delightful Thursday

Hello there and hope your week is going well.  I can't believe we are more than halfway through October now!  As it is Thursday its time to take our trip over to the Digital Delights Blog to see some wonderful creations by the Design Team.  Here is my card:

This cute little ghost is called Ghostly Greetings and is available here. His banner is blank so I added the Boo before printing him out.  I coloured him with my Copics and used Dienamics to cut him out and for the mat.  The papers are Monsters on the Loose by H Roselli from the Sweet Shoppe, it was a warm day when I made this card and I got too hot and opened the Velux window above where I was working.  I finished the card and then went downstairs to make dinner and then it started raining.  The raindrops came in and splashed the paper discolouring it slightly but I think it looks quite effective (that's my excuse anyway because I wasn't going to start all over again). The clouds and bats are Memory Box die.  I have used lots of Martha Stewart purple and black glitter on the clouds, bats and mat behind the image.

Don't forget to take a look at all the other DT creations on the Digital Delights Blog and we also have a new challenge starting today at Delightful Challenges.  The theme this week is to use your favourite colour with the winner winning two six marker sets of Spectrum Noirs!!

Simon Says Stamp - Colours
Creative Card Crew - Black Cardstock
Cutie Pie Challenge - Perfectly Purple and Cute
Corrosive Challenge - Halloween
