Delightful Thursday

A big good morning to you all!  We had a fabulous time in the Isle of Wight the weather was beautiful it was like being on the Costa del Sol. I was even swimming in the sea with Harrison - he loves the water and little Rafe was in there too,  even little Rowan got his feet wet!  Its amazing the difference good weather makes, if we could be sure of good weather we would not feel the need to go away like we do as there are such beautiful places here.

Anyway its Thursday and that means its time for another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights Blog. Here is my card:

I have used the super cute Loving Cherub image which is available on DVD IV here and great value as you get over 90 images!  She has been coloured with my Copics, chalk and some Stardust Stickles on the cloud.  The papers are Fine Linen by Nitwits.  The sentiment is from the Happy Ever After Sentiment Set available here and I used a Marianne die for the envelope.  I used Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles and Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die.  The bow was made with a Lil' Inker die and the pearl flower trim is from Etsy.

Don't forget there is a new challenge at Delightful Challenge and the theme this week is Bling It On! Sponsored by Cut 'n Paste Memories.

Thank you so much for looking today and your continued support.  I am finding it very difficult to do any crafting at the moment I just don't seem to have much time.  I hope things will settle down a bit, hopefully in a few weeks.  Take care xx

Hostess Monday and Christmas in July

A scheduled post for me today as I am on holiday.  I have combined two posts in one today as I was so busy before I went away I just ran out of time to do anymore crafting!  Today it is my turn to host Hostess Monday at Digital Delights Blog and over at Lexi's Creations we have a new challenge starting this fortnight with the theme Christmas in July so I thought I would use this cute image for both makes.

I have used super cute Candy Cane Jingles available at Digital Delights here.  I coloured him with my Copics and used some papers I got free in a magazine.  The Merry Christmas is washi tape from Martha Stewart.  I used a Spellbinder die A2 Scallop Borders One for the border - one of my most favourite dies.  The snowflake banner is by Whiff of Joy and the poinsettia is Marianne with sone WOW embossing powder on it.

Please pop over to Lexis to see the rest of the DT makes and have a go at entering to get ahead of your Christmas makes!

Thank you so much for looking, take care xx

Delightful Thursday

Good morning, I can't believe how fast this week has gone.  We are going on holiday tomorrow I really must get ready.  We are going to the Isle of Wight for a week on Sunday, renting a house and my daughter, her partner and Rowan are coming too as well as my ex husband and is partner and my ex SIL and BIL.  My son and grandsons will come over for the weekend next weekend.  We are leaving tomorrow and spending Friday and Saturday with my son and grandsons and taking the ferry on Sunday.  There is no internet access at the farmhouse we are renting so I have scheduled my posts for the week and will catch up with everyone on my return.

Today is time for another Delightful Thursday over on the Digital Delights Blog when all the DT showcase some of the amazing images available.  Here is my card I have made:

I have used another image from the Wunderland collection, this time Wunderland Queen which is available here and the sentiment is from the Wunderland Sentiment and Accessories set which is available here.  I have coloured her with my Copics.  The papers are from my stash, I am trying to use some up and I also can't access any of my digital papers on my new pc!  I cut her out with a Dienamics Oval Stax and layered her onto Spellbinders Floral Oval mat.  The zip is a Marianne die I have had for a while and not used yet!  The flourish is MB Fremont Crest another rarely used die and the tag is Go Kreate Tags 1.

Here is another view, I seem to have got rid of the blue tinge finally:

Please have a look at the Digital Delights Blog and see what the rest of my teamies have done, they are so talented!  Over at the Delightful Challenges there is a new challenge and the theme this week is Button, Button - use buttons or brads and the sponsor is The Robin's Nest.

White on White

Good morning hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. More sunshine today - yes! Today there is a new challenge starting at Hobbycutz and the theme is White on White.  Here is my card:

Sorry about the blue tinge but it is white! I thought if I photographed it against white it would all blend in so I used blue but now everything looks blue!!  Anyway I have used Centura Pearl card and the embossed background was made using Spellbinders Celebrations EF.  The sentiment and mat was made using Spellbinders Frame One and a Waltzingmouse Sentiment stamped in London Fog Memento ink.  I punched some flowers out of vellum with Woodware and Tonic punches adding some pearls to the centre.  The butterfly was made out of vellum too using a Cheery Lynn die - Exotic Butterfly No 2.  My leaves are a Hobbycutz laser cut which I have painted using Diamond White Acrylic Paint.  Because the card is smaller than my normal I cut the laser cuts with a pair of scissors to fit on my card, they are so easy to cut and trim how you want them - no special equipment needed! Check out the store here for lots of laser cuts.

Here is another 'blue view':

We have a wonderful sponsor this week Iva Nova Chest so please go over to the challenge at Hobbycutz for some more wonderful inspiration.

Thank you so much for looking today and any comments you may leave, I really value your support.  Take care xx

New Release at Digital Delights

Good morning hope you are well today, if not here is a big hug! The weather seems to have changed here in Blackpool. Yesterday was lovely and warm Dave and I took our bikes down to the prom and had a ride by the sea.  Today I am taking my Aunt out for lunch.

I would like to welcome my latest follower Laurigami so pleased to see you!  We have a new release over at Digital Delights since it is the first Thursday of the month and we are also so excited to reveal the newest members of the DT to you! So pop along to meet them all and see their fabulous work!  Here is my card:

I have used Flower Power Skyler available here and he has been coloured with Copics and some Glossy Accents to his glasses.  The papers are from a very old DCWV pad I thought they looked quite hippyish!  I used my Grand Nesties to cut and mat and embossed the panel behind Skyler.  The Sentiment is from Groove On Sentiment Set available here.  I remember having a little CND badge back in the Sixties and thought it would be fun to draw the logo on the Card Candi.  Well I do not have an artistic bone in my body but you would think I could draw 3 straight lines wouldn't you?  Well obviously not because this was about the 10th attempt I had Card Candi with wobbly lines on all over my craft table!!

Here is a side view:

Please head over to the Digital Delights Blog to welcome the new girls and see the rest of the new release. This week at Delightful Challenges we want to see your favourite things and the sponsor is Dies R Us with a $10 certificate for the lucky winner!
