Good morning to you all - did you have a nice weekend? It was Mothering Sunday here in the U.K. yesterday. My daughter came over with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and took me out to a Michelin Starred restaurant for lunch. My sister came too as she doesn't have any children and has always been like a second Mum to mine. We had a lovely time and I felt like the Queen!
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexis Creations and the theme this week is Easter we want to see your creations made for Easter, here is mine:
Mmmmm quite a busy card I think! The image is by Your Next Stamp coloured with my Copics and chalk for the sky which you can't really see that well. The papers are Nitwits Waddles Whimsy and the little duck in the corner comes from the set. The sentiment is Inca stamps and I used Marianne die to cut it out. Heart banner is La La Land and Dienamics Stitched Rectangles to cut the image out. Here is another view:
Please pop over to the challenge at Lexis to see the rest of the creations by the DT.

Ribbons and Flowers
Good morning and a Happy Friday to you all! A big welcome to Karen my latest follower - great to see you Karen. Today is my last card that I am making for Sassy Designs I have made the decision to step down with the baby's arrival in 12 days time I won't have as much time for crafting. I would like to thank the team for being fab and very supportive I will miss working with the wonderful images. Big wave to my Sassy Sisters and Brother xx
Sassy are sponsoring Left of Centre Challenges today and the theme is Ribbons and Flowers. Now I have only just realised they are a bit steampunky and goth over there so not sure how my card would go down but they won't see it so it doesn't matter I guess!
I have used Sassy Little Honey's Japan and coloured her with Copics. Dienamics Stitched Rectangle Stax to cut her out. The papers are ancient some I got years ago on QVC and never used, they came in a set with peel offs and decoupage things. The flowers are Cheery Lynn and tag is Go Kreate. Here is another view:
Not sure where that pink hue came from I think it may have been too sunny when I took the picture.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Crafty Little Fairies - Add a Tag
Ladybug Crafts Ink - For a Special Girl
Craft-Dee Bowz - Anything Goes with a Bow
Craft Your Passion - For the Ladies
Glitter 'n Sparkle - Use Some Blue
Pile It On - Pretty Hair
Pink Gem - Special Female/Birthday
I am off with my daughter today for last minute shopping for things. She is still in breech and with the baby being big and her having developed gestational diabetes they have booked her in for a Caesarian Section on the 9th April. I will be relieved when it will be all done the only disappointment for me is that I was going to be with her during the birth but with a Section only one person is allowed. But not long now!
Thank you so much for looking today, take care xx

Well I went to the hairdressers yesterday and had all my hair chopped off! I do get bored with hairstyles and after a few years like to have a new style. I loved Meryl Streep's hair in Devil Wears Prada so wanted a style like that, my fringe wasn't long enough but we are growing it. I keep getting a shock when I catch sight of myself in a mirror!
Thank you so much for visiting today I really appreciate it and love to read your comments, thank you for taking the time to write them. I will be back tomorrow, take care xx

Photo Inspiration
Good morning hope you are all refreshed for your week ahead. We had a beautiful day yesterday with clear blue skies all day and this morning is the same although quite frosty at the moment.
We have a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and for this fortnight's challenge we have a photo inspiration. Here is my card:
And here is the photo inspiration picture:
I used the colours and the vase of tulips for my inspiration. The tulip stamp is by Hero Arts which I have had for many years and I actually coloured it with my Distress Markers!! Used some Glossy Accents on the vase. The image was then cut out using my Dienamics Stitched Square Stax and matted on a Marianne die cut mat. Papers are Nitwits Petal Pixies and I used Memory Box Corner Bow. Here is another view:
I was quite pleased that I actually used my Distress Markers to colour the image as I have had them yonks and not really used them though I much prefer my trusty Copics. Please head over to Card Makin' Mamas and see what the rest of the team have done.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Come and Get It - Easter/Spring
Sentimental Sunday - Flowery Spring
That Craft Place - Flowers and/or Mother's Day
Fairy Tale Challenge - One Old Stamp
Polkadoodles - Spring is in the Air
Thank you so much for looking today I really appreciate each visit! Take care xx

It's A Girl Thing
Hello there Happy Sunday and a big welcome to my two new followers Julie and Linda I'm so honoured that you have decided to follow me - welcome aboard.
The NEC was wonderful so tiring but great to see all the different things. I came back with loads of goodies to play with - picture at the end. Today is a new challenge at Hobbycutz and this week we want to see Girly But No Pink! Easy peasy right? Although I must admit I do love my pink its still easy enough to make a girly card using other colours. Here is mine:

I used my Spellbinders Grand Circles and Stately Circles to cut and mat her. The die cut is Memory Box Chloe Stem and the leaf from Fabulous Phlox. I painted my pretty butterfly lasercut with Acrylic paint and then Frantaged that too there are lots of lasercuts available here at the Hobbycutz store. Here is another view:

Punches and Dies
Good morning I hope you had a lovely weekend and are all refreshed for the week ahead. We had a fabulous time in London. We met Dave's son and his partner Saturday afternoon and went for a drink at the top of Centre Point overlooking all of London. Then we went for cocktails and a meal at a beautiful Art Deco Restaurant they knew in the West End followed by Phantom of the Opera. Sunday we had breakfast at our favourite place and then strolled up to The British Museum and had a walk round. I can't believe how lovely the weather was, people were walking around in flip flops and summer clothes, picnicking in the park and when we got up to Preston station to change trains it was blooming freezing!! I sometimes find it hard to believe the change in weather in such a small country!
Anyway I am a bit late this morning with this I suppose I should have scheduled it or posted it before I did my grocery shopping but I didn't! It is the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and the theme this fortnight is we want to see your punches and dies. Here is my card:
I actually had this image coloured for a while as I made it for another DT but it was too big so I had to do another. She is called Honey 4 from Scrapper's Delight and I coloured her with my Copics. I cut her out using Spellbinders Grand Ovals and matted her using Grand Scalloped Ovals. The corner dies are Dienamics and I have used my Martha Stewart Cherish Punch Around The Page Punch for the border and embossed panel. Sentiments are LOTV and ribbon from The Ribon Girl. Papers are digital from The Sweet Shoppe - Meghan Mullens Unending Joy. Here is another view:
Please go over to Lexi's to see the rest of the DT's projects.
Thank you so much for coming by today I really appreciate it! Take care xx

Are We There Yet Reminder
Good morning just a quick post to remind you of the challenge over at A Little Bit Crafty. The theme this month is Are We There Yet? How you interpret it is up to you - holidays, travel, modes of transport etc. Here is my mid-way card:
I have used some very much neglected Hero Arts Stamps. The sentiment inside is Penny Black but you can't see that! The map paper is from Prima Engraver pad. I used Spellbinders Beaded Ovals, Dienamics Pierced Oval Stax and Mini Scallop border. Here is another view:
A very quick and easy card but I thought it was about time I used these stamps and this challenge seemed a perfect excuse.
As usual we have some fabulous sponsors this month:

Delightful Thursday
Good morning time to welcome you to another Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights Blog. Its when all the DT showcase the wonderful designs available at Digital Delights by Louby Lou. Here is the card I have made for this week:
This little cutie is called Conductor Colin and is available here, I coloured him with my Copics. The sentiment in the envelope is from the Groove On Sentiment Set available here. Papers are Nitwits On A High Note. I cut the image out with my Dienamics Pierced Rectangle Stax. The corners are a Whimsy die and the envelope is a Cutting Edge Die. Here is another view:
As you can see I lined the envelope with a contrasting paper.
Over at Delightful Challenges this week the challenge is Wearing of the Green sponsored by our very own Digital Delights.
I have finally finished all my March DT work and am cracking on with April. My daughter has been told she may have to have a C section two weeks before the due date so I really need to get my skates on!! I'm taking my Aunt out for lunch today at the moment its a bit miserable but I think it is going to clear up - fingers crossed! Thank you so much for looking today I will be back tomorrow. Take care xx

Away With The Fairies
Good morning I hope you are having a smashing week. Here in Blackpool it has been gorgeous weather - clear blue skies and sunshine and it looks like it may be the same today. Over at The Paper Shelter there is a new challenge starting today and the theme is "Away With The Fairies".
We want to see your creations with a fairy on it. I had no problem trying to find a Paper Shelter fairy image as there are loads of gorgeous fairies to choose from. Here is the one I went with:
I used the adorable Everyone Can Fly which is available here. Now I have a real problem colouring blonde hair and usually avoid it at all costs because it always turns out brassy. It doesn't matter what combination of Copics I use I always get brassy so excuse the hair I think she needs to change her hairdresser! I have added glamour dust to their wings. The papers are Nitwits Time for Tea with Coredinations card stock. I used Spellbinders Grand Nesties Circles to cut her out and matted on Grand Stately Circles. The sentiment is Waltzingmouse and I cut the tag with a Go Kreate die. Impression Obsession Butterfly and hearts. Here is another view:
Now remember there is a fabulous prize on offer:
So please go over to The Paper Shelter Challenge and check out the fabulous work by the DT - wow!
Also we still have the DT call on so if you are interested in working with these fabulous images please see the challenge blog for all the details.
One last thing, there is a new fun challenge on The Paper Shelter Facebook Page:
Here is the link to get you to the facebook page with all the details.
Well thank you so much for looking today I will be back tomorrow, take care xx

Oh Baby
Good morning I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a good night Friday and Saturday night but not much sleep so consequently didn't get much crafting done! Once I got my housework done on Saturday and washing and dinner on Sunday I spent the day in the lounge knitting and watching films! I am really trying to get to May with my DT cards before the baby arrives but haven't even finished March yet!
Today's card is one I made a while back after being asked for some baby boy cards.
The elephant, sentiment and gingham paper are all Pink Petticoat. The feet image is a Magnolia stamp and the heart and pearl are from The Hobby House. I used different Spellbinders dies and Centura Pearl for the base. Very simple card here is a side view:
I would like to thank everyone who comes round to visit and leaves comments its always lovely to read them and I appreciate that it is time consuming. Its always so nice to switch on your computer or I Pad and see that you have comments waiting. I know there are people who regularly visit and don't leave comments and I thank you for your visits too Since I started my blog almost three years ago I have 'met' some wonderful and very helpful people and really hope that long may it continue.
Take care xx

Blog Hop
Good Morning and welcome to the Sassy Design Team Blog Hop!
We are celebrating the release of some Sassy SentiMits designed by our very own talented Greg!
You should have come to my blog from the lovely Karal's blog if not you need to go back to Sassy Studio Designs and start from there.
For my card I have gone totally CAS:
I have used the fabulous Cat Woman Sassy with Greg's Lion Attitude Sentiment. She has been coloured with Copics and then some simple matting and layering.
From here you need to go to the lovely Lori's blog and see what she has done. You need to go to all the blogs in the hop and leave a comment and there will be a freebie somewhere along the way but comments need to be left on all the participating blogs. If you get lost along the way please go back to Sassy Designs Blog for the full list. Good luck! xx
