Good morning to you all! Hope you have some nice plans for the weekend whether they be just relaxing or something more strenuous! Today we have a new challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers and the theme for this challenge is Father's Day. Here is my card:
I have used the delightful and somewhat saucy Sophia available here. I have coloured her with my Copics. The paper is by Meghan Mullens called A Reason to Smile. For the black card I embossed it with a woodgrain embossing folder which I thought was manly ??? I have used Spellbinders die Wonky Rectangles to cut the image out with. Cheery Lynn dies used are: Tags 2, Burlap Border and Expandable Tiny Borders. The button is made with Dienamics Button Quartet and I have triple embossed it with extra thick embossing powder. No other embellishments as its a man card lol!
The lucky winner will win a Wags 'n Whiskers rubber stamp! You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image but if you do then you will be entered into a 2nd draw for a Wags 'n Whiskers digi. Please go over to the Challenge and see what the rest of the team have done for some more inspiration!

Merci Beaucoup
Hi there - mid week already, I swear someone is fast forwarding the clocks when I'm not looking! I can't believe its only a week and a half until we go on holiday!
Here is a card I made for Annie the other week she has received it now and this is the first chance I have had to post it:
The image and sentiment are from the new Pollycraft range. I coloured the image with my Copics, Glossy Accents for the eyes and Stickles to the flower and sentiment. The papers are Nitwits. The flower is a Joy Crafts die with Card Candi in the centre. I hand cut the fishtail banner and cut and matted the image with Spellbinders. I kept it very simple as it was going all the way to Australia so I didn't want a bulky card.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Digi Makeover Challenge - Anything Goes
Songbird Challenge - All Creatures Great and Small
Dream Valley - Animals
Thank you so much for coming around today I love our visits! See you tomorrow, take care xx

Good morning to you, hope you enjoyed your long weekend those of you who had one. It rained such a lot here in Blackpool yesterday - good for the garden!!
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments and the theme for this week's challenge is we want to see some stitching - real or faux. As I have jammed my sewing machine and haven't got round to downloading the manual from the internet I have gone with faux:

Dies used are MB Precious Hearts, Cheery Lynn Tags 2 and Build a Flower 1, Joy Crafts Daisy and the leaves were made with a punch. I used DI in Milled Lavender on the flowers. Ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, pearls and brad from my stash.

Focus on the Sentiment
Good morning to you all! For those of us in the UK and USA I hope you are all enjoying your long weekend! The weather has been beautiful here in Blackpool for the last two days but I think we have rain forecast today - no surprise there then! Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and for this challenge we want to see you Focus on the Sentiment! Here is my card:
Quite hard to take a decent photo with all that pearlescent paper! I have used Lexi's Lifetime Sentiment which is available at Fairydust Crafts, Lexi does some really nice sentiments its worth having a look at them! I changed the colour in Word and printed it out on pearl paper which I then cut out with SB Romantic Rectangles. I have used Pink Petticoat Damask printed onto Linen card for the background paper. I embossed some Centura Pearl card with a Cuttlebug EF. The card blank is a Craftwork Cards one. The spacer I bought on EBay, pearl brad is from Wild Orchid crafts and ribbon and pearls from my stash.
We are sponsored this week by
Please go over to Lexi's Creations Challenge to see what the rest of the DT have done! You have almost two weeks to enter.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Tie it Up
Moving Along with the Times - Embossing
Fab 'n Funky - Ribbon/Lace
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Say it Loud (Sentiment only)
Yesterday I achieved absolutely zilch! All day all that I did was move some embellishments around on a card and just couldn't decide on a layout! I am hoping Mr Mojo will play ball with me today and I can get a bit more accomplished! Have a fabulous day whatever you are doing, thanks so much for looking! Take care xx

Good morning to you and happy weekend! I hope you have something nice planned, here in the UK we have a long weekend as it is a Bank Holiday on Monday. We actually have nice weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday. I am off to the Trafford Centre with my daughter this morning for a spot of retail therapy! Doing some shopping for our holiday which is just two weeks away - that really crept up on me! Tonight we are going to a BBQ and then nothing planned for the rest of the weekend. What are you up to?
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and the theme for this challenge is we want to see your Rubber Stamps. Remember we are a card making only blog so any card with some stamping using rubber! I had to dust mine off as I seem to be using digi only at the moment, here is what I made:
The stamp is a Bildmalarna 'Little Winged Friends on Walk'. She has been coloured with Copics with Glamour Dust added. The felt heart is a Dienamics die 'Hearts a Plenty'. I have used SB Circles and Beaded Circles for the image and mat and also the flower is SB from the Homespun set. The sentiment is LOTV and the heart banner is LOTV. Ribbon and pearl from my stash. The papers are Nitwits, I think Life's Little Lemons.

I'm late again!
Good morning to you! A big welcome to my new follower! Just a quick post today with another card I made the other day with the Nicecrane image.
I needed a quick thank you card and made this. As I said the image is from Nicecrane which I printed off, the paper and sentiment are Pink Petticoat printed directly onto linen cardstock and finished off with a little ribbon. I needed to post it so I didn't want too much on it as I only had a first class stamp and didn't want the faff of going to the Post Office to have it weighed.
I really must stop Pinterest late at night, I stay up far too late pinning things and now I have overslept this morning. I hate getting up after 630 it throws me for the rest of the day!! I am off to the gym this morning then taking my Aunt out for lunch followed by tea at the pub this evening! Another day gone in a puff! Hope you all have a good day whatever you are doing! Thanks for looking today and take care xx

Celebrate Friendship
Good morning to you all! Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Delightful Challenges and the theme for this week's challenge is:
CELEBRATE FRIENDSHIP
we want to see something that you would share with a friend. Here is my card:
I have used Elvin the Toad available here from Digital Delights. I have given him the 3D treatment but you can't see it in this picture, I should have taken a better photo! His eyes have Glossy Accents on too so he does really pop out of the card, you'll have to take my word for it! The papers are Kaiser Craft "Rock Pool". I got some Coredinations and cut it with an Oval Nestie and then ran it through a woodgrain Crafts Concepts embossing folder to make it look like he is sitting on some logs. I used a Grand Nestie Circle to cut out the aperture. The sentiment is Animal Crackers Sentiment No 1 available here from Digital Delights. The sentiment has been cut out with Nesties Labels One (I think) and distressed with Vintage Photo DI.
Our sponsor this week is:

Well for some reason I woke up at 1:20 this morning convinced that it was Saturday morning and I hadn't done the post!! I ran up to my computer which took ages to come on and started writing my post, I kept thinking I can't believe I forgot!!! Then when I was linking back no one else had their post up and I kept thinking this is awful everyone has forgot. Then I saw the date in the corner of my computer and I thought that was wrong too!! It was only when I googled an on line calendar and saw that the 17th was actually Friday it dawned on me that it wasn't Saturday. My goodness how do these things happen, I'm sure they didn't happen when I was younger!!

We go out for lunch once a week and during the winter have gone to the same place every week as she is in a wheelchair and I didn't want to be pushing her out in the rain and wind. I thought that since it was supposed to be nicer weather we would start going to different places and we could have a wander around, hah back to the drawing board then!!

Black, White and one Other Colour
Good morning everyone hope you had a fabulous weekend! This is a scheduled post (hopefully lol) as I will be coming back from London today. Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi's Creations and for this challenge we want to see Black, White and One Other Colour. So predominantly black and white with just s bit of another colour. I love this combo and think black and white always look stunning. My first choice is to put red with it but I thought I would do something different. However, when I looked at what I did for this challenge last year I used the same colour combo!! How predictable am I then??
I have used Lexi's Happy Birthday sentiment and DSB Sketchy Flower 3 lightly coloured with Copics. Dies used are SB Romantic Rectangles and Ribbon Banners, Cheery Lynn Burlap Border. Papers are Pink Petticoat. The ink is Versa Colour Orchid and ribbon is from my stash. Our sponsor this week is:
Please go over to Lexi's Creations and check out what the rest of the DT have done! You have almost two weeks to enter the challenge we would love to have you join us!

Punches
Good morning and hopefully you will be reading this on Saturday morning! There is a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and the theme for this week is Punches! Well I must confess to having a bit of a hiccup with this as I thought the challenge was Diecuts and Punches! Luckily I have used a punch for that little bitty butterfly you can see at the top on the sentiment!!
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Rick St Dennis and if you are a regular here you will know I do love his images! We each got to pick one and I was drawn to this fabulous one called Outhouse! I couloured it with my Copics and added a touch of Glossy Accents. The papers are Echo Park Orchard Lane. I have used Marianne dies for the ivy and fence. The butterfly is a punch I think Woodware. The sentiment is computer generated and Weathered Wood DI added. Please go over to Card Makin' Mamas to see what the rest of the DT have done with their fabulous images. Please remember we are a card making challenge so we want to see your cards!
Well that is all from me for today, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back on Monday! Take care xx

Love is in the Air
This is my second post please scroll down for Crafty Sentiments sneak peek!
As promised I am back again - like Arnie! Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and it is Team A's turn this week. The theme for this challenge is Love is in the Air. This gave me a good excuse to use this gorgeous image which I had been eyeing up for a while:
As soon as I saw her I loved her and thought she would be perfect for this challenge (Private Dancer springs to mind). The image is Arabian Spell and she is available here at The Paper Shelter. She has been coloured with Copics and Twinkling H2Os, here is a closer look of the gleam you get with the Twinkling H2Os:
I added some Glossy Accents to the jewels but you can't really see that! I am not sure about the heart die I think it may be Nellie Snellen. The image has been matted on Floral Ovals. I think the Black and white paper may be Pink Petticoat. I haven't written the details down for this card, I usually write them all down in a notebook as I make them in advance and I wouldn't be able to remember them but for some reason I haven't written these down and now I can't remember!! The black panel has been embossed and gems added and the little heart is a Marianne die which has been embossed with red EP using the sentiment which came with the die.
As usual there is a fabulous prize for the lucky winner:
Please go over to the challenge and see what the rest of the fabulous DT have done!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
My Heart Pieces - Embossing
Creative Card Crew - Bling
Thanks for looking today I appreciate it! I will see you all tomorrow, take care xx

I downloaded the Serengeti photo from Google Images. The giraffes have been coloured with my Copics and I used Grand Nesties to cut the circles, adding some acetate. The sentiment is computer genereated and cut out with Spellbinders ribbon banners.
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Grrrrrr!
Good morning to you all hope if you are in the UK you are enjoying a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. The weather here in Blackpool is a bit mixed today, rainy and sunny! Fingers crossed for tomorrow its supposed to be 18!!
I have made a card today just for me. I have been trying to get ahead with DT work so I have just been concentrating on that but thought this morning I would have a little break from that. So here is my card:
I have used one of Stephanie's adorable dinosaurs from her Dino-Mite collection which is available here from Clearly Besotted. You get loads of sentiments in the set too which I have used here. I stamped directly onto the card but it is linen card stock and it was a bit of a devil to do, this is my sixth attempt! I did have to fill a bit in with Copic Marker - but don't tell anyone! I have coloured him with my Copics and just had to add some Glossy Accents to those eyes! I cut him out with my Lil Inkers Photo Die and popped him on some foam squares. I embossed the background linen card. The paper is MME Fly a Kite and I have edged it with Cheery Lynns Tiny Expandable Borders.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Paper Creator's Craft - For the Boys
2 Sisters - Bingo (Embossing, Image, Die Cuts/Punches)
Delicious Doodles - Something for the Boys
Moving Along With the Times - One for the Guys
Shelly's Images - Kid Theme
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Animals
Well that's all from me for today, back to the DT work! Hope you have a lovely day whatever you are doing and get some crafty time too! Take care xx

Washi tape!
Good morning to you all, don't talk too loud I have a bit of a wine headache this morning lol!
Over at Card Makin' Mamas a new challenge started the other day. There have been a few problems with the challenge and it did not start when it should and we had to change the challenges around so I have not posted my card yet! The new challenge is washi tape well I can tell you that sent me into a real panic! I am not really a fan of it and I didn't want to buy something that I wouldn't use again but then I remembered that I had bought some in Florida last year and dug it out! However when I dug it out it turned out to be Christmas Washi tape!! So out came all my Christmas boxes and I had to make a Christmas card - yes Chrissy I know!! Here it is:

As it is the first of May then it means the start of a new challenge at A Little Bit Crafty - our second challenge! The theme for this month is KRAFT it. So we want to see a project with some Kraft card/paper on it. Here is my card:
I have used Sarah Hurley's Curio Kit, she is one of our sponsor's this challenge. The images are Flying Airships by Hero Arts and the other stamps are Kaisercraft "Check In". I have used Crushed Olive DI and Memento Ink. The photo corners are Dienamics as is the notebook binder die, button October Afternoon and twine and brad from my stash.
We have some fabulous sponsors this month:
You have a month to enter the challenge, you can enter up to three times and you may use enter any type of craft as long as it follows the theme! Please go over to A Little Bit Crafty and see what the rest of the team have done.
Well I am just waiting for 8:30 so I can get to the hospital to get my bloods done then I can have a drink! (I meant coffee lol). Then it will be the gym and then I am taking my Aunt out for lunch and the afternoon.
Thanks for coming to visit me! I will see you later with another post!! Take care xx
