Good Morning all - hope you are fine and warm wherever you are! Here we are at Friday again I hope you have some nice things planned for the weekend. I am off to the gym this morning then taking my 90 year old Aunt out for lunch then DH and I will be going to the pub for our tea. Tomorrow we are going out for dinner with my sister and her partner and I think my DH's daughter, husband and children are coming over for Sunday dinner on Sunday so quite a bit planned!
I have made another Christmas card (no surprise there then) and as the colder weather has arrived I thought we all needed to wrap up and keep cosy and warm so:
what better way than with a nice pair of warm mittens!! The rubber stamp is by Unity I get a stamp every week from them which comes with a sentiment although I have not used the one that came with it. I have coloured it with Copics and it has been cut and matted using SB dies. The papers are October Afternoon from the "Holiday Style" pad. The ribbon is Martha Stewart I got on holiday. I coloured some card candy to match. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and has been stamped on a SB label die and then cut. The snowflakes are SB and MS. I am quite annoyed because I bought the MS punch and stamp snowflake on holiday and I think I have thrown away the instuctions and I can't for the life of me figure out how to work it!! I think I will have to look on You Tube or MS site. I have followed the sketch over on Sketch Saturday again, for those of you who have never used a sketch you should try them it makes everything a whole lot easier I think!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments - Bingo I have used the line Happy, die cuts and snow (I have 3 snowflakes, hope that counts)
Crafts and Me - Ribbon or Trim
The Paper Shelter - Christmas is Coming
Well I hope you all have a fab weekend whatever you are doing. I will be back tomorrow with my card for Card Makin' Mamas challenge, til then take care xx

Another Sketch
Good morning I hope you are all alright today and if you are under the weather I hope you are feeling better soon! Well Blogger is still playing silly beggars with me it still won't let me look back in my Reading List. I use Google Chrome so I think maybe if I uninstall it and then re-install it that may work - who knows??!! For my card today I have used another sketch from Sketch Saturday, I liked the sketch so much that I made another card using it which I will post on Friday (if I remember lol). Here is the one I made for today:
I have used a Lili of the Valley stamp so I could enter their Anything Goes challenge. The image has been coloured with Copics, the background has been chalked and I have used Glamour Dust on the snow. The sentiments are also Lili of the Valley - too cute! The papers are from MME - "Merry" paper pad. I have used my new Memory Box die for the snowflakes along the bottom using glitter card. The border die is Spellbinders Edgeabilities and the gems are from my stash.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Lili's Little Fairies - Anything Goes
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Snowflakes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Winter
Fab 'n Funky - Use 3 of Something (I used 3 DPs)
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Glitter and Sparkle
Inky Impressions - Pastel or Vintage Christmas
Well I'm off to the gym in a little while and then getting my nails done this afternoon. Hopefully I may be able to squeeze some crafty time in!! Thank you for looking, I will be back tomorrow and take care xx

No Christmas Card
Good Morning Bloggers! Is anyone else having problems with Blogger dashboard? It won't let me view more blogs in my reading list, it keeps saying loading but nothing comes up? I can do it on my I Pad but not my PC. It means I can't comment on posts that have come up before the ones that are actually showing if you know what I mean!! Anyway, I hope you are all managing to stay dry and not been affected by these horrible floods we are having in the UK. Roll on summer that's all I can say!!
I haven't got a Christmas card today, thought I would post a Birthday card for a change!
This is a card I made a while ago using a gorgeous image that I won from Teresa at My Crafty Heart - thank you so much Teresa! I cannot recommend her shop highly enough - really prompt service!! I think the papers are First Edition. I have used Spellbinders to cut and mat the image, which was coloured with Copics. I dyed some seam binding with Distress Ink and added a lovely flat backed pearl and spacer which came from the Ribbon Girl (I coloured the pearl with Copics first). The bird cage is a Spellbinders die and the flowers were a Tonic punch. The leaf was made with a Marianne die. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. Again, I have followed a sketch - this time the one from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - Die Cuts/Punches
Joanna Sheen - Anything Goes Excluding Christmas
Pile it On - Anything But a Christmas Card
Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Sketch
Sweet Stampin' - Flowers
If you pop over to:
That's it for me for today. I think I will do a bit of on line Christmas shopping and some crafting - nice relaxing day hopefully! Thanks for looking and take care xx

Time for Christmas
Good morning and Happy Monday!! I'm back from my weekend with my son and family in London - the new baby has still to arrive lol!!
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Lexi's Creations and the theme this week is ...... mmm I wonder if you can guess??? Yep that's right its CHRISTMAS!!! You have two weeks to make your creation around the theme of Christmas - I can see we are going to have plenty of entries for this one. Here is what I have made:
I have used Lexi's Bauble Spiral Christmas tree digital stamp, which is available to purchase here from Fairydust Crafts. I coloured the tree with Copics and added some Liquid Pearls to the baubles. I cut the image out and matted it using Spellbinders. I have added some Stickles all around the edge of the image. The paper, tag and ribbon are all Papermania "Home for Christmas". The border is made with a MS punch and I have embossed the white card with a snowflakes EF. The wooden star is from my stash.
Our sponsor this week is:
My Heart Pieces have a wonderful selection of digital stamps and have freebies every Monday.
Please pop over to Lexi's Creations to see what my fabulous team mates have designed for some further inspiration.
That's all from me for today. Have to catch up on housework, gym and grocery shopping - groan! Not much crafty time today unfortunately! See you soon, thanks for looking and take care xx

Time for a Sketch
Good morning bloggers and Happy Friday to all you workers - they sure roll round quick don't they? Stacey, my daughter and I, are setting off to London this morning to spend some time with my grandson Harrison, son and daughter in law. The new baby is due in 16 days and Melissa is having a 'sweep' today so you never know......!!
Today I have made a card following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday , I love following sketches as I have said so many times its just so easy peasy! Of course its a Christmas card - not long now!!
The image is Hero Arts and has been coloured with Copics and Stickles added for some sparkle! I have gone around the edge of the image with chalks whilst it was still in the die. The papers are MME "Merry" and Coredinations cardstock. The sentiment on the front is a Crafter's Companion one which came free in a set with a magazine. I have used another sentiment on the inside which, I think, is Penny Black. My craft room is so messy I keep loosing things I am really going to have to have a major sort out ...... maybe in the New Year lol! Here is a picture of the inside:
I am trying to make some post friendly cards without too much in the way of embellishments on them. I posted one today and it was 90p!! It only had a felt flower on it well okay quite a few layers but still!!!
I hope it is ok for the challenge as I moved the sentiment.

Well I will try and get round a few of you before I go, other wise it will be after the weekend. I hope you are all having a good weekend, thanks for looking and take care xx

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Delightful Challenges and this should be an easy one for all you crafters who are beavering away on your Christmas projects - we want to see:
RED AND GREEN
This should be easy for you - nice traditional Christmas colours. Here is what I have made:
I have used the gorgeous Santa Bryce - don't you just love that little Rudolph peeking over his shoulder?? He is available to purchase here over at Digital Delights. I have coloured him with Copics and added some glitter to the trim of his suit - you really need to peer hard at it to see it!!. I cut the image out and put him on an oval cut out with SB die and embossed with a dotty folder. For the trim I used a border punch and cut and bent it to follow the oval - Debby from A Scrapjourney showed how to do it I then distressed the edges with Fired Brick DI. I got the papers last year from Michaels - a big 12 x 12 pad. The corners are made with MFT dies and the ribbon and twine are from my stash. The big button I was lucky enough to win last year in Debby's candy - thank you Debby!
Remember, you don't have to use a Digital Delights image to enter the challenge but we love it sooooo much when you do that you can enter twice!! Wendy has some fabulous images so it is well worth having a browse and you can probably pick up a bargain in the sale. Our sponsor this week is:

Home Again!
Good morning all you lovely bloggers. Well, I am finally home after my travels and trying to settle down to normality. We had a fabulous time in Florida, the children enjoyed it so much it was just wonderful seeing them have so much fun. Las Vegas was just as much fun as always - cocktails before breakfast, well it just has to be done. I am pleased to say that I actually won as well - whoopee!! I am going to try and catch up with you all now over the next few days. Today is my daughter Stacey's birthday so we are all going out to dinner tonight to celebrate. I have been so busy I have not made her a card but I have so many in my stash that I am sure I will be able to find one for her. This weekend Stacey and I are going down to London to see my grandson Harrison and my son and daughter in law. I am so excited about seeing him it has been such a while. The new baby is expected in less than 3 weeks, this 9 months seems to have flown by.
I have just found out that I was one of the lucky winners on the Penny Black Saturday challenge, with the problems I have had over the last 4 months I have not done much blogging and hardly entered any challenges so I was so pleased to have won! Anyway, I do have a card that I made a while ago to share today, a CAS style, here it is:
I have used my new Spellbinders Exquisite Circles behind the image. I can't remember who the stamp or sentiment are by - I will come back later when I find the details!
Well I am off to the gym in a while, I managed to put 4 lbs on which is not too bad considering I had 3 weeks in the US but I need to loose it before I go again lol!!
Thanks so much for looking, see you soon and take care xx

Thanksgiving at Delightful
Good morning everyone, today sees the start of a new challenge at Delightful Challenges and the theme this week is:
THANKSGIVING/THANKS
I have gone with the Thanks theme with living in the UK.
I thought I would get a head start with my Thank You cards!! I have used the sweet Thanks for the Gift Set which comes complete with image and sentiment - bargain, available here from Digital Delights. I have coloured him with Copics. This was the second attempt at colouring him the first went in the bin, the problem was the box I just couldn't get the shading right so in the end I covered it with Mermaid Stickles to hide my dreadful shading!! Thank you Stickles lol. The papers are from Bo Bunny the Alora Collection, I thought that although the image is Christmassy you could still use it for any time of year so that's why I didn't use Christmas papers. I embossed the cardstock with a Circles embossing folder. The image has been cut and matted using Spellbinder's Nesties and I used Edgeabilities for the border. I cut the sentiment out with a Sizzix tag die - had it years and years! The flower is made using Dienamics Rolled Daisy die. The flat back pearl and twine are from my stash.
Our sponsor this week is:
The Robin's Nest - you can visit them here.

Please go over to Delightful Challenges and see what the rest of the girls have done - some fabulous inspiration to be had there! You don't have to use a Digital Delights image but we love it when you do and then you can count it twice.
Well this is my last day in Las Vegas (which feels really weird as I am scheduling this so I haven't even left for Florida yet lol). I would normally be fed up when I get back but my DH and I have booked to go there for Christmas so I will be looking forward to that. How strange Christmas in Vegas - very kitsch!!
Thanks so much for looking, once I get over my jet lag I will be round all your blogs to catch up with all your wonderful designs I have missed!! Take care xx

Thanksgiving at Lexi's
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Lexi' s Creations and the theme for this challenge is Thanksgiving or Thanks. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the United Kingdom so I have gone with the thanks:
A very simple card but I thought the sentiment was so lovely I wouldn't detract from that. The sentiment is by Lexi and is available at Fairydust Crafts. I have cut it out with my Nesties and matted it on some gold cardstock cut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals. The fancy bits are from Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs. The paper is from Little Black Dress by Basic Grey. The pearl border is a pearl string from my stash. Our sponsor this challenge is:
Please go over to Lexi's Creations and see what the rest of the Design Team have made.
Thanks for visiting today, take care xx

Thanks/Thanksgiving
Well hopefully I have arrived in Las Vegas and will be enjoying a few of these:
Yummmmm don't know which is my favourite may just have to try them all to find out lol!!
We have a new challenge at Card Makin' Mamas and the theme for this challenge is Thanksgiving or Thanks. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK so I didn't really see the point in doing a Thanksgiving card so I have gone with the Thanks theme:
This cute image is from the Besties Set by Digi My World who are our sponsors this week. I have coloured the image with Copics and then cut it out and mounted it on foam dots. The papers are October Afternoon from the 9 til 5 Collection. The button is October Afternoon. I have cut the heart out and then embossed it. The flower is a Dienamics die and the computer generated sentiment has been cut with a Lil' Inkers banner die.
Please go over to Card Makin' Mamas see what the rest of the Design Team have created for some more inspiration. Just remember that we are a Card Making Challenge so we need to see your cards!!
Thanks for looking, take care xx

Let it Snow!
Good morning bloggers! Well I should now be on the way to the airport for my annual girly holiday to Las Vegas - whoop, whoop!! Today sees the start of a new challenge at Delightful Challenges and the theme this week i:
LET IT SNOW
We want to see your creations with Snowflakes on - very seasonal with Christmas fast approaching!! Here is what I have made:
I have used the super cute Flurry the Snowman which is available here from Digital Delights. Love that bird on his head! Don't forget all of Wendy's images are available either coloured or un-coloured whichever you prefer. I have used Copics to colour mine. I have used Coredinations cardstock, October Afternoon paper from the Holiday Style pad and some glitter card. Flurry has been cut and matted using Grand Nesties and I have coloured the background with some chalks. I have added a lot of Martha Stewart glitter to his clothes and the snow. The sentiment is from the A Touch of Christmas Sentiments set available here such brilliant value as you get 8 sentiments! The border die is a Spellbinders and I have used the fall out for my snowflakes - waste not want not!! I have put the sentiment on a Marianne die cut to look like a sign. The gems, ribbon and snowman charm are all from my stash.
Please go over to Delightful Challenges and see what the Design Team have done for some more inspiration. You don't have to use a Digital Delights image to enter but your entry will count twice if you do use one!
Well I will be on my way to
for our annual trip. We are staying at the Aria which is just a couple of years old, we like to try somewhere new each time, here's a picture:
Ooooh I'm so excited!! Thanks for looking and take care xx

Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Delightful and I am so excited because we have another sketch (I LOVE sketches) and its New Release Day - yippee!! So Wendy has given me this sweetie to work with:
Oh he is just too adorable!! Love him Wendy!!! I have coloured Nutcracker Kiddles with my Copics and cut and embossed him with my Nesties. Sorry I can't give the link because I am scheduling this before they have been released but pop over to Digital Delights here and you will see the new release on the front page. I just love sketches and this one is brilliant I am sure you will be seeing it again. The papers I have used are from Marianne Design called Let it Snow. I have used Wendy's sentiment which is from the Caroling Sentiments Set available here. I used my Grand Nestie Circles for the side parts of the card. The brad and ribbon are from my stash - actually the ribbon is from when I made my son and daughter in law's wedding invites.
Our sponsor this week is:
Joanna Sheen will be giving the lucky winner a £10 gift certificate for their on line store.
So please go over to Delightful Challenges and see the rest of the new releases and what the DT have done with them - believe me there are some fabulous creations.
