Challenge Day at Delightful

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Delightful Challenges and the theme this week is:

FALL DAYS

we would love to see your creations using Autumn as your inspiration. A very easy challenge I think just think of autumn colours, falling leaves, harvest - you get the drift!! You don't have to use a Digital Delights image to enter but we love it so much if you do that you can enter twice.  Here is what I have made:

I have used the adorable Haystacks the Scarecrow and he is available to purchase at Digital Delights here and is currently 20% off.  I have coloured him with my Copics and then cut him out with my Spellbinders Nesties and made a faux mat for him.  I have used paper from Wendy's Simply Fall Digital Paper Pack which is also available from Digital Delights here and is currently 50% off it comes with 7 other designs - great value.  The great thing about digital paper is you just print out exactly what you need - no waste and no scraps!  The tree is a Memory Box die and I put different coloured leaves on it which took an age!  I have cut out the letters from Funky Foam using a Tim Holtz die.  The button is October Afternoon and the raffia and twine are from my stash.  The leaves that Haystacks is standing on are made from Woodware punches.  I have also embossed the Coredinations with a bark embossing folder.

We are sponsored this week by:

and they will be giving the lucky winner a £10 store voucher!

Please go over to Delightful Challenges and see what my lovely team mates have made for some further inspiration.  You have until next Wednesday night to enter we would love to see what you create!  Thanks for looking, take care xx

Fancy and Frilly

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Delightful Challenges and this week the theme is:

FANCY AND FRILLY

We'd love to see your creations that follow this theme.  You don't have to use a Digital Delights image to enter but we love it so much if you do that you can then enter twice!  Here is what I have made:

I have used the gorgeous Luvvy Baby which comes in a set with a sentiment and the ABC blocks which you can purchase here at Digital Delights.  He has been coloured with my Copics and I have cut him out and popped him up on some foam squares.  The mat behind has been embossed with tiny hearts and that has been popped up on some foam squares over a Nestie.  The frilled lace and gems are from my stash.  The ABC blocks are from the same set and  I have paper pieced them with some Pink Dots Digital Paper and also used the Pink Check Paper which are available here in the Sweetheart Digital Paper set from Digital Delights. Here is a peek at the inside:

Oops a bit wonky I think!  I have used the sentiment from the set and cut it out with Romantic Rectangles by Spellbinders.  This set is really good value as you get the Luvvy Bear image, blocks and a sentiment it comes either for a girl or a boy. Pop over to Digital Delights to see some fantastic images that Wendy has designed. Our sponsors this week are:

The Cutting Cafe will be giving the lucky winner three sets from their store!!  So please go over to Delightful Challenges and see what the rest of the talented DT have made - some real inspiration there.

Thanks for all your good wishes about my daughter, unfortunately there is no improvement at the moment.  The consultant is coming to see her again today and someone comes each day to see her and I am hoping that we will start to see an improvement soon.  Take care xx

She made the cushion too!  Aren't they gorgeous?  Thank you so much Suzie I just love them and I know I will find it so hard to actually use them!  Suzie makes the most beautiful cards take a look at her blog here if you haven't been before.

I have coloured The Beautiful Aerialist with Copics and Prismas. The papers are by Bo Bunny from the Alora Collection.  I have cut and matted her with my Spellbinders Nesties.  The flowers are made with my Tonic Punch.  The bow is made with a fab new die that I saw on Mary J's fab blog Where's My Creativity and loved it so much I ordered it! Its by Lil' Inker Designs.  I had to overlap it slightly onto the image as I had a mark on it from goodness knows what after I had finished colouring it!!  The skyline is MFT Dienamics die and I thought it made her look like she was flying high lol!!  The pretty jewelled spacer thingy majiggy is from The Ribbon Girl I added the pearl to the centre and coloured it to match.  Gems are from my stash.  I have added stickles to her collars and cuffs and flowers in her hair and used Mirri card because I want to enter The Paper Shelter Challenge which is Glitz and Glamour.  Challenges I'd like to enter are:
