Cute 'n Cuddly

Hello there and welcome to a new week - eek the year is flying by! Well it started out very wild and windy this morning here - the remnants of Hurricane Bertha we are told, however its beautiful now, really sunny just slightly blustery.  I went to the gym this morning and then have had a chilled day doing a bit of crafting.  I have done a DT card and then also this one for a few challenges.

I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday because I do love following a sketch, makes things a lot easier!  The papers are Nitwits Good Hareday and the image is a Lili of the Valley coloured with my Copics.  I tried to make the dog's fur look a bit texturised but it looks like he has measles - do dogs get measles I wonder??  I used my Dienamics Fishtail Stax for the sentiment which is a Pink Petticoat one.  The bottom border is Dienamics from Blueprints 6.  I have bought several of these but in all honesty I hardly use them as they aren't the right size for my 5.75 x 5.75 cards. The other two borders are made with Cheery Lynn Tiny Expandable Borders die, which is a really useful one to have.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Suzy Bees - Anything Goes
Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Dies 'R Us - Birthday
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Crafty Little Fairies - Cute and Cuddly

Thank you so much for looking today and the lovely comments which I know are time consuming but soooooo lovely to read, take care xx

Hi Susan - I really have chuckled at the thought of your doggy with the measles fur! I think he looks very furry to be honest, not at all spotty! Love those papers as well. I am a little mystified as to the die used for the actual image - hope you can let me know what it is!!

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

Hi again...just poppedback to say thank you for the beilliant idea of using my book. What a silly I am...I keep a book already, every card marked down with the title and date of the post, the challenges I entered etc. I could write them there as I make them!

Silly me! Usually I jot the name of the manufacturer on the back of scraps...but b4 I made cards and just scrapbooked, I created a lot of snippets that are not marked. I should also get in the habit of writing the name on the edge of a page when I make up card kits for the lake!

Thanks for the great idea! Hope all is well with at the moment!

I love your card, Susan. Your dog is adorable and compliments the dotted look of the card base and your sentiment flag paper. I thought it was intentional in the design! Thanks for playing along with us at Sketch Saturday this week. Hugs, Cathy xx
