Easter Treats at Delightful Challenges

Good morning is everyone ready for the heat wave today? I hope we're not having our summer in March lol!!  Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Delightful Challenge and the theme this week is Easter Treats - yummy!!  I have made an Easter Basket after seeing one on Bev's blog:

I have used the delightful Cindy Bunny which you can purchase from Digital Delights here.  I have coloured her with Copics and paper pieced her dress and shoes.  The papers are by Nitwits and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have used a Go Create XXL die to cut the basket and mats out and Edgeabilities for the handle.  Here is a side view:

We are sponsored this week by The Cutting Cafe

and one lucky winner will win three sets from their store.

Pop over to Delightful Challenge now and see what my talented team mates have come up with for more inspiration.  To enter the challenge you do not have to use a Digital Delights image although we love it if you do and your entry would then count twice.  I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafts and Me - Spring Colours
My Mum's Craft Shop - Let's go Digital
The Paper Shelter - Paper Piecing
Anything Goes Challenge - Get Ready for Easter
Digital Tuesday - Life is Peachy (Papers and image are digital)
Sassy Cheryl's - Think Spring
Sweet Stamps - Easter
Stamp and Create - Paper Piecing
Joanna Sheen - Spring is in the Air

Thanks for looking today and take care xx

Thank you Susan for your lovely message on my “Monday,Blues post ” when I went to look after Mum and Dad . It was so kind of you and I was overwhelmed by your kindness. I hope you and yours are well.
Dad is much better now, he has a recurring abscess , but a course of anti-biotics seems to do the trick. Sadly Mum had a massive stroke 4 years this May and will never be fine, she is unable to move or speak , but she can communicate by facial expressions, Dad is her carer , she has 4 x2 carers visits per day. So when Dad gets poorly I have to step to care for them both. Thank you again for your kindness. I am now back and on track . Hugs Elaine
