Are We There Yet?

Good morning to you and thank you so much for coming by to see me and all the lovely comments, they are lovely to receive.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at A Little Bit Crafty and the theme this month is Are We There Yet?  How you interpret it is up to you as long as we can see the theme.  I see it as meaning travel i.e. modes of transport or holidays or foreign lands.  I always remember saying this to my Dad every five minutes when we were traveling in the car, this was in the days before I Pads, DS, DVD players, mobile phones etc when all you had to keep you from getting bored was a book or a game of Eye Spy! Here is my card:

I have used Monster truck from Digital Delights and coloured it with my Copics and some Glossy Accents to the window and lights.  The papers are Bo Bunny On The Go.  I used Dienamics Stitched Oval Stax and Oval Stax to mat and layer the image and Dienamics Lead the Way for the arrows.  The gears are Tim Holtz Mini Gear Die with some silver Card Candi in the middle and my reflection on the top one lol. The gear embossing folder is also Tim Holtz by Sizzix.  Here is another view:

We have some great sponsors this month: Mo's Digital Pencil, Which craft? and Marianne Design so please check out the challenge and get some more inspiration from the rest of the DT. Remember you don't have to enter a card it can be any crafty project and we love to see what you do.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles - One for the Boys
Totally Papercrafts - Make it Shine
Milk Coffee - Emboss wet or dry
Paper Crafting Journey - Man or Boy
Digi Darla's - Make it Masculine
Incy Wincy Designs - Birthdays

I am scheduling this because I have to take Dave to the train station he is going to London to see his son so I am Home Alone! My plan is get the housework done and craft, craft, craft.  Thank you so much for looking today, see you tomorrow! Take care xx

Susan what a great bright, colourful card and just right for a wee lad - just love it. You are so right about travelling with out all the iPads etc. when even think back to when ours were young and we lived in north and south Germany for years and came home often by car travelling hundreds of miles and they had to make there own entertainment. Oh how they would have loved even a DVD player to watch. Enjoy your time crafting. Hazel xx
