Shabby Chic

Good morning to you all!  Happy October to you eeeek it will soon be Christmas! This is my first post of the day I will be back very shortly with my Crafty Sentiments DT post.

Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at A Little Bit Crafty and this month we want to see your Shabby Chic creations.  This is not a style I usually do although I have done a few and lately this seems to be quite a lot!  Here is the card I made:

As soon as I saw this image I had to use it - my daughter used to have a pair of these sunglasses! The image was kindly given to us by one of this month's sponsors Octopode Factory and is called Freya.  I coloured her with my Copics. The papers are Prima from the Botanical pad and I daubed them with some acrylic paint.  I cut Freya out and matted on SB  Labels 8 which had been embossed and then matted that onto Decorative Labels 8.  The postcard is from the pad I just cut it out.  The spacer, from E Bay, has been embossed with Puff White EP.  The charm, pins, lace and pearl are all from my stash.  The flourish lasercut is from another sponsor Hobbycutz and that has been painted with acrylic paint.  Herer is another view:
