Thought I would share the card I made for Dave's birthday on Sunday. It was a real rush job in the end. I was making it Saturday afternoon but when we went out for our shopping Saturday morning we bumped into a friend and ended up going for lunch. No sooner did we get home than some other friends called round. I had to rush up and make it very fast!!
Now Dave does a lot of cycling and goes to the gym. I thought this would be an excellent image for him. His bike is black and silver and his cycyling gear is all black so I tried to make it look a bit like him but thought that would be too much black so I added the yellow to break things up a bit!
The image is Spinning Sid by Just Inklined coloured with my Copics and Glossy Accents added to the sweat! The paper is Kaisercraft I think its called Travel and I have used my favourite SB Curved A2 Borders. The gears are made with a Tim Holtz die and I sanded them to make them look a bit rusty. Here is a side view:
