Lace and Pearls

Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Hobbycutz Challenge and the theme this week is Lace and Pearls.  Here is my card:


I have used Elizabeth Bennet by our sponsor this week Sassy Studios.  She has been coloured with Copics and I added some Aged Rose and Shabby White Frantage around the image. For my Hobbycutz laser cut I first painted it with MS Acrylic Paint, added some Versamark and then Frantage in Shabby White and Aged Rose.  There are lots of different laser cuts in the shop here and they are such fun to work with!  I used Spellbinders Grand Nesties Ovals to cut her and matted her onto Grand Decorative Ovals One.  Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page for the heart border all around.  The locket is Spellbinders Love Locket and it has been inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson Ink.  For the flower I stamped a Paula Pascual Script Stamp in the Brilliance and then used SB Rose Creations.  The Cherish bingo card is a Kaisercraft stamp.  Lace and pearls from my stash. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  I was up early and had my Christmas Cake mixed and in the oven by 7:00 AM! I was meant to do it the other day but never got round to it.  I had to get it in early today because we are going over to my Daughter and her Partner's house this afternoon and need to leave no later than 2:15.  Thank you so much for looking and any comments you may leave it is always nice to see them!     Good Morning Susan, your card is so lovely and really making me smile at the thought of Elizabeth Bennet and a bingo card, Mr. Darcy would never have approved.

    It's a wonderful image and the colours are fab, loving the frantage around the frame too.

    I've given up with making Christmas cakes too, but I love them, too much that's the trouble.
