Helllllloooooo there! Don't know what happened to the supposed heat wave we were supposed to be having this week!
I have a card that didn't turn out how I planned although I didn't really know how it was supposed to turn out if that makes sense! I belong to Unity's Stamp of the Week club so get a new rubber stamp each week so I thought it was about time to start using them! I feel I should challenge myself to use one each week and just pick it randomly from the box - that would be a challenge!
I recently bought my first Spellbinders Embossing folder so I used both sides on the card using Centura Pearl card. I used a Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails die to mat the image. The corner dies are Whimsy and the tag is Cheery Lynn Tags 2. You do get a sentiment with the image but it was a bit too big for a tag so I used another one from an old rubber stamp don't know the make! I used Moonglow Embossing Powder for the image, sentiment and also covered the corner dies in it. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Make My Monday - Flowers or Trees
Whoopsi Daisy - Ribbons and Bows
One Stitch at a Time - Anything Goes
A Creative Romance - Dies or Punches
Chocolate Coffee and Cards - Anything Goes
Keep it Simple - Flowers
I am looking forward to a crafty day today! I am also going to soak my dried fruit in brandy as I will be making my Christmas cake tomorrow! Whatever you are doing have a fabulous day! Thank you so much for looking and any comment you may leave, take care xx

ReplyDeleteSuzie, I think you and I speak the same language "definitely/maybe" and I'm thinking you definitely did a great job in creating this gorgeous card - CAS but so rich wth all the lovely embossing. I like your idea for picking your stamps at random - you could call the cards your 'pot luck' range and I'm sure they'll all be as beautiful as this one. Good luck in our challenge this week. Stunning card Susan! I love the embossing and the die-cuts are beautiful. Choosing an image at random is definitely a hefty challenge but is likely very interesting. Don't think I would have the courage for that kind of adventure. . Thanks for playing along with us this week at OSAAT, hope to see you back again soon.
