Photo Inspiration

Good morning to you all!  Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at The Paper Shelter.  The challenge this week is a photo inspiration and here is the photo:


A lovely summery picture for you to base your project on.  Here is what I did:


I have used the colours of green and lilac but I also wanted to include the red poppies that were in the picture.  The image is Paper Shelter Make a Wish available here it has been cut and matted using SB Adorning Squares. I have coloured with Copics and added some Stickles around the edge.  The papers are Nitwits Possibilities and Coredinations.  I have used a Spellbinder Die DLite Poppy Patch for the poppies and added Stickles.  The butterfly is MB Pippi and Isabella.  The ribbon is from my stash, heart from The Ribbon Girl, Card Candi and sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

    Good morning...almost 2:30 am here and just couldn't sleep. Little grandson is having a horrible reaction to some mosquito bites and after getting him settled, I am wide awake!
    What a very pretty card. Such a delicate look to your little fairy and the poppies are a delight!
