Summer Holidays

Good morning to you!  Well I should be back sometime this morning but I am scheduling it before I go away to make sure it goes out on time!  Today is the start of a new Challenge at Lexi's Creations and the theme for this week is Summer Holidays mmm just as mine is finishing!  Anyway here is my card:


The image is a Stitchy Bear "Beach Huts" which I have coloured with Copics and chalks.  I think Beach Huts are a perfect summer image reminds me of lovely summer holidays on the beach!  We never had a beach hut but I always think they look lovely.  Paper is Pink Petticoat and from my stash.  The sentiment is PC generated and cut out with SB Grommet tags.  The image has been cut with SB Wonky Rectangles and matted on a faux nestie.  The paper was cut with Dienamics Bracket Edge Duos but most of it is hidden by the image.  The twine is from The Ribbon Girl.

    This is a fabulous card Susan...we have a beach here that is lined with beach huts[Batches]...but they are getting too posh now, I prefer these ones myself.

    Gorgeous card - reminds me of hols when my babies were little and we holidayed in Brid (about 28 yr ago, how time flies) the B&B had a beach hut which we could use - oh happy memories. Hope you are keeping well. x Susan x

    Susan, this is gorgeous. It reminds me of my youth, and takes me back to holidays past.

    You have coloured the huts beautifully, especially the sand which is really effective.
