Hello there and welcome to my blog! Its been a gorgeous day here in Blackpool. Dave's son was up from London so we went out for dinner with him and also Dave's daughter and husband and his grandchildren Emma and Max. It was so nice that when we dropped Peter off at the train station we all came back here and played in the garden!
My something new is actually a centre step card which is new for me as I haven't done one before! I was having a play the other day following a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers then saw that the challenge at Sassy Cheryl's was for step cards! Here its is (be gentle with me, its my first):
Mmmmm not sure if I have enough pink on my card lol!! I have used a Sassy Cheryl image called Not So Small and she has been coloured with Copics and I have also put some Stickles on her wings and dress. The papers are Pink Petticoat. I have used the following dies: Cheery Lynn for the bee and dragonfly, MB for the flowers, clouds and butterfly, Marianne for the tree and Spellbinders for the image and mat. The sentiment is computer generated. Actually I think it looks a lot better IRL!
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Sassy Cheryl - Step CArd
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Glitter n Sparkle - Anything with a B (Bee, Butterfly, Blooms, Birthday)
Crafts 4 Eternity - The Same Letter (B - Bee, Butterfly and Blooms)
DRS Designs - Trees
Thank you for coming by I love our visits!! Take care xx

have you entered my candy??
Just popped back to say the ATC had never interested me before...but i try to play along a What's On Your Worktop Wednesdays when i can.
ReplyDeleteI have met so bloggy friends there...it is really amazing. So once a year they all make ATC's and trade them...I made the 11 that I mailed all over the world and will receive some back.
Most people keep them in baseball card sleeves but some just use them to be the foal point of a card I guess.
I will save mine as they will mean a lot to me!
Me again...forgot to say that Texas sounds wonderful! You will have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI have never been but we had a trip arranged with DH's work to San Antonio. We would have stayed at the River walk area but it got cancelled! Darn!
Enjoy your holiday and let us see some pictures if you can!
