Good morning to you all. We had a fabulous day yesterday weather wise - wall to wall sunshine and lovely and warm too! Today is cloudy but fingers crossed the forecast looks good for the Bank Holiday Weekend. We are going over to my daughter and her partner's house tomorrow for a BBQ and then on Monday we are having one for Dave's daughter and family. Have you got any nice plans for the weekend?
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Wags 'n Whiskers and the theme for this is "Girly Birthday" - right up our street isn't it!! Here is my card:
Well I must admit I had lots of fun doing this one! You can just keep going with female cards can't you? I used Wags 'n Whiskers Fairy Hannah which is available here for the USA and Canada and here for the rest of the world. The papers are Nitwits 'Butterfly kisses' - I have fallen in love again with my Nitwits and can't stop using them now!! Hannah has been coloured with my Copics and Glamour Dust added to her wings. The image was cut out using SB Romantic Rectangles. The envelope is a Marianne die and the sentiment was computer generated. The hearts are MB Precious Hearts Die. Ribbon, butterfly, crystal bling and resin flower all from stash. The spacer was bought on E Bay and my husband flattened it for me!
The prize on offer is a Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp. You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamp but if you do then you will also be entered into a separate draw to win a Wags 'n Whiskers digi! Please go over to the challenge here to see what the rest of the DT have done!
Challenges I would like to enter:
Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes with Ribbon
Paper Pretties - Pink and Green
The Perfect Sentiment - Make it Feminine
Nutcrafters - Bingo (I used the bottom line, die cuts, gems and ribbon)
Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Digi Darla's - Celebrate
Digi Makeover - Celebrations
Well I am off to the gym and hairdressers this morning and hopefully a bit of crafty time this afternoon! I have done all my DT cards for May just trying to do June's now! We are away in June for almost three weeks so I really need to get ahead of myself! Thanks for coming by today, see you tomorrow! Take care xx

This is a lovely girly card and the embellishments you've chosen compliment it perfectly. Butterflies, hearts and roses, pretty ribbon, bling..what more would a girl want. I agree that the Nitwit papers are addictive but so easy to use if you're working to a colour theme. Hope you have a good weekend Susan.

ooh this is so girly and gorgeous! I love the papers, the embellishments, the image - all of it in fact! Have a fabulous weekend, I hope the weather stays nice for you. I am off to a Vintage Fair tomorrow. Its quite small and is on every month. I love just mooching round and chatting to the stall holders. Last month I bought a 70s butter dish with now holds my bakers twine! xx
