Oops I should have scheduled this before I went to the gym! Just a bit late for our new challenge over at Lexi's Creations and the theme for this challenge is "Happy Birthday". Here is my card:
As soon as I saw this image I fell in love with it! The image is Working the Land by Stitchy Bear. The sentiment is by Lexi available at Fairydust Crafts. The digital papers are Orchard Lane by Echo Park. I have colourd with my Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents to the brass on the horse's harness. I have cut and matted using SB Labels One and the cat tails are a SB Die DLites Die which took ages to cut out grrr! I have used Cheery Lynn Tags 2 to cut out the sentiment and Dienamics button die and bracket edge duo. I thought this would make a good male card with the image so get the embellishments fairly plain.
Our sponsor this week is:
the lucky winner will receive three digis.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
So please pop over to Lexi's Creations Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT have made! Thanks for looking today, take care xx

ReplyDeleteI've just noticed this wee car blinking up at me from the corner of my computer, I've never noticed him before, is he new, or am I just blind?, I love him.

This is a super male card and the image would be perfect for some of my farming relatives. May have to invest in that one. Your SB Dlites die cut was well worth fighting with as it compliments the image perfectly.

I'm so sorry I haven't been around in ages! Finally managed to make it today and I promised myself I would comment on everything between this card and today, but you are way too busy and defeated me. I have had a look at all the lovely cards and commented on a few.
ReplyDeleteThis one is gorgeous! That image is so beautifully coloured and it fits absolutely brilliantly with the great diecut! It was well worth the effort cutting it as it really finishes off the card to perfection.
