Good morning and I hope you all had a good weekend. We had a fairly quiet one just a spot of shopping on Saturday and yesterday we went for dinner at my husband's daughter and son in law, had a nice catch up with them and Emma and Max.
Mr Mojo seems to have taken a back seat with me lately and I am struggling to make cards, I want to but then nothing seems to materialise. I am making 50 party invitations for my friend so I got cracking on those over the weekend doing all the cutting and bow making etc so I am quite pleased with my progress so far. I also wanted to make some card inserts and have never been able to get the hang of it so I watched some videos on You Tube and finally managed by using a Text Box. The only thing is the sentiment is in a box if anyone knows how to do it without having the box around it I would love to know! Finally here is a card:
For some reason I seem to have a pink rosy glow on this which I assure you there isn't! I have used an image from Pink Gem which comes with the sentiment. The papers are by MME "Paris and Co.". The dress form die and needle and thread die are Memory Box, I inked the dress form with some Vintage Photo. The buttons are made with a Dienamics die and the ribbon and twine are from my stash.
Thank you for looking I really appreciate that you take the time out to come and see me! See you tomorrow, take care xx
Great card - but isnt it annoying when Mr. Mojo goes on holiday! mine has been away for a while now.... so annoying! What did you write the text box in? If it was word then right click on the edge of the box (it brings up a different menu to when you right click inside the box) and at the bottom you should see Format Text Box - go there and you can set the line default to blank. Hope this helps :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, love the beautifully coloured image and layout.xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Susan, gorgeous colour combo too

Fabulous card Susan - love the new PG image and all the scrummy die cuts.
ReplyDeleteWith regards to the text box if you right click on the line of the box which should bring the edit options up then click format shape, line colour and then no line - this should remove the lines hopefully :o)
Have a wonderful day

This is great Susan. Love the sewing theme. Love your choice of colours and layout.
ReplyDeleteI always use My Craft Studio for my inserts as I then can add backgrounds, text boxes, embellishments... anything :) I even use it to just print text for cutting with a die as it gives precise measurements
