Stay warm and cosy

Hello to all of you wonderful bloggers out there! Hope everyone is ok and what do you know we are half way through the working week!  With the current cold weather I thought I would make a card with a warm and cosy feel to it:

Just what the doctor ordered to keep you all snug and rosy!  The rubber stamp is by Unity and the sentiment came with the stamp. I have coloured the image with Copics although there isn't much colouring involved I only used two pens!  I then cut the image out and matted it with my Spellbinders.  I have used a heart embossing folder on the mat too, so it echos the hearts in the paper and on the image.  The paper is First Edition.  The sentiment has been die cut with a Lil' Inker die - love the stitched detail around it. The corner die is a MFT Dienamics. The gems and ribbon are from my stash.  I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Papertake Weekly - Baby It's Cold Outside
Creative Moments - Monochrome
Paper Pretties - Use Ribbon
The Perfect Sentiment - Encourage Me + Ribbon
Crazy Amigos - Embossing Folders
Ribbon Carousel - Winter Spirit
Fussy and Fancy - Coffee, Cocoa or Tea

I'm off to the gym first thing then I am taking my aunt out for lunch and then we are going to the matinee of Les Miserables I have warned her to take plenty of tissues! Hope you all have a great day a big thank you for coming by to see me! Take care xx

Lovely card Susan. Perfect colours for the theme. Great that you have echoed the hearts in the paper and embossing.
So jealous that you are going to Les Mis... I would rather come with you than go to work.
Have fun

Hi Susan - I'm out of my wardrobe for the time being to do a little blogging!! I told my hubby your story about your unit just so he knew I wasn't the only one - lol!!! Feeling better already you see!

I love all the cards that you have made since Christmas (last time I was blogging - oops) But I especially love this one because it is soooo different. Lurve those colours and that paper is to die for! I would be hard pressed to use it to be honest 'cos it is so divine. Also think the little image is cute!

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
