Here is a card I made yesterday:
I have used one of the cute little fairies from Lily of the Valley and coloured her with my Copics. For her wings I went over them with my Twinkling H20s they look so irridescent IRL. I have added Stickles to the frosting and some Liquid Pearls in Pink to her antennae and the cup cake case. Now this paper is very old I think I could take it to Antique Roadshow and they would say it was worth a bob or two! Its from a DCWV Sweet Matstack know idea where I got it from but there are some really pretty papers in and they are very thick almost like card! The felt flowers have been cut with a Marianne die and added a pearl which I coloured with Copic. The ribbon, charm and gems are all from my stash. The sentiment comes with the stamp and I cut it out with my SB banner and distressed it with Spun Sugar DI whilst in the die. The border is an X-Cut die. I have followed the sketch over at Sketch n Stash because you know I love them!!

Well that's if from me! Weekend at last whoo hoo! Off to the hairdressers this morning then bridge practice this afternoon and out to the pub for tea. ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely image isnt it - makes such a great card, I love the colours you have used. I too seem to get more spam at the moment - they go straight into my spam folder in blogger but I get an email telling me about them so in the mornings I am logging on to 50+ emails! I am just deleting them from my mailbox both - bit of pain though! Have a great weekend.

p.s. I was getting tons of spam on blogger and I changed my settings to just block Anonymous people - it seems to have worked as I don't get many at all now ...touch wood! LOL
This is just gorgous Susan, love the cute image and fabulous colouring..love the beautiful ribbon too and the little charm..I used to get spam but do not anymore I turned something off and never had it again, just cannot remember what I did..lol.

ReplyDelete..and re spam if you want to stop it, remove the anonymous option in Settings -> Comments and it will stop, as they then dont have that option.
I have done it because it was driving me balmy too - so maybe you are getting all mine :D Shaz in Oz.x

ReplyDeleteI went through a phase where I was getting stacks of Spam comments, but I changed my settings to only allow people to comment who have a Google Account and that seems to have worked.

ReplyDeleteI too was getting loads of the same spam as yours and someone told me to go in and edit that post by clicking on options (on the right hand side) and then click on 2nd option Don't allow/show existing and then done.This is fine if it's a older post.
This stopped all spam for months until this week started again on another post, been in and done the same and no more again yay!

ReplyDeleteI was getting loads of spam relating mainly to one particular post so I did what Carol did and removed it (I reverted it back to draft) and it did help quite a lot - I'm back to about 2 or 3 a day now.

Okay - this is my favorite - love the cupcake holder. SPLAT - can you think of anything better than landing in the most delicious icing you have ever tasted!
