Butterfly Girl

Good morning bloggers and hope you are all ok this Monday morning - only four days until February eek soon be Christmas!!

I started to make a card the other week using a sketch for a challenge and I can't remember which challenge and I also didn't finish it in time so I think the challenge has probably finished! Anyway I finally finished the card so here we are:

This cutie is Butterfly Girl by Sugar Nellie and I have coloured her with my Copics.  The papers are by Hero Arts called Serenade.  I have used the following die cuts: the tag is Sizzix, photo corners Dienamics, fence Marianne, flowers Memory Box, butterfly Dienamics, Hummingbird Cheery Lynn and the mat is Spellbinders.  I made the flowers out of felt from the Ribbon Girl.  The lace is from a local haberdashery - its so pretty only have one piece left I must go and get some more.  The gems are from Mei Flowers and the twine is from my stash.

I really must go and get some shopping today we can't keep eating out lol! The weather is so wet and wild you really don't feel like going out in it.  Dave and I are going to a funeral this morning its his friend's mother who was a very good age at 96 and still living independently. I have a raging sore throat which I have caught from my delicious baby grandson, teach me to keep kissing him on the nose when he is snuffly!!

    Ooh this is gorgeous Susan! what a cutie she is... love the expression on her face with the butterfly LOL the papers and embellies are stunning! Love the bird... the fence...and those pretty blue flowers!! :-)
    I've just been out to dentist and it was blooming awful weather... cold, wet and windy... brolly wouldn't stay up... we were going to go shopping afterwards but came home instead!!! LOL

    Oh wow Susan this is a stunner of a card. Fabulous colouring and what a great design and layout you have used. The embellies work perfectly with her.
    You should have entered Saturated Canary (http://saturatedcanarychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/)with her as she's a Simply Sassy image. The theme is movie title (the butterfly effect?) The challenge closes on Wednesday.
