Good morning everyone hope you aren't too wet here in the UK! I hope it stops raining this afternoon for the Queen and her flotilla! Well the boys have been and gone it was lovely to see them even if it was briefly. It was quite funny because one minute the house was so full and the next everyone had gone, including Dave who went up to Carlisle to practice Tai Chi with some master or other and so he was gone all day. Funnily enough I didn't do any crafting as I felt lonely lol!! I'm hoping today I will get some done as I have a load of DT work to do.
My card today I made the other day, Wendy at Digital Delights had asked if any of the DT wanted to do a couple of extra cards for these great new images she had so I jumped at the chance! I actually made three so I will show one today as I haven't made any others! They are for Father's Day and my father passed away 11 years ago so it does feel weird making Father's Day cards.
I have used Wendy's Shirt image, Just for Men Digital Paper Pack and Dad Sentiment. I paper pieced the tie and added a couple of small green brads to the collar buttons. The sentiment has been cut and matted with Spellbinders. Some scrim and silver Card Candi from my stash finish off my easel card. So easy and no colouring required. Pop over to Digital Delights and have a look at the moment there is a 70% Sale on retiring products - so grab them while you can!! I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Here Come the Boys - Anything Goes
Jellypark Challenge - For the Man in Your Life
I am dead excited - I am a lottery winner on the Euromillions ...... £6.20 mmmm wonder how I should invest that??? Thanks for looking today and take care xx
