Another Male Card

Good morning and a big welcome to my new follower!  Did you see the flotilla? It was very enjoyable to watch the different crafts sailing down the Thames and what about that rain!! Such a shame but it didn't seem to stop the crowds.

I don't seem to be getting anywhere fast with my card making to many distractions I guess. So for today's card I have another male card I made for Wendy at Digital Delights last week.

This time I have not used an image just the Dad Sentiment and some of the patterned paper from the Just for Men Digital Paper Pack.  I have cut out and matted the sentiment with my Spellbinders Nesties to make it look like a rosette and put all the layers on foam squares for some dimension. Here is another view:

The sentiment and papers are available at Digital Delights and they have a sale at the moment with 70% of retiring products!  I would like to enter the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Here Come the Boys - Anything Goes
Jellypark Challenge - For the Man in Your Life
Cards For Men - Father's Day
Incy Wincy Designs - Blue and Black with Male Sentiment
Love to Create - Father's Day

Well thanks for looking today. I am going to try and get some cards done today so it will be a crafty day for me. See you tomorrow, take care xx

Hi Susan, aren't you good making men's cards, and this one is fabby. The men in my family always get a bought one, how bad is that! cos I never know what to do with them.
You can't believe how many people have organised things for the Jubilee, it is a shame the weather wasn't like last week after all the preparation.

Hi Susan, I love your male cards, you are so good at them, love this rosette and those papers look perfect :) I read your comment about the Viva pearls...have you tried squeezing from the side?! I tilt the bottle, almost like using it like a pen, even more tilted in fact. You might also be "lifting off" a bit too slowly as well? as this can also cause points (oooer, it does sound all very technical, but I bet you know what I mean!)try practising on paper, starting small, then going big, then small again...Have a good Monday, Hugs, Teresa x

Fab card, such a good idea. I watched all the different boats too - really impressive. I lived in London at the time of the Silver Jubilee and slept out along the Mall and had a brilliant view of the procession. Some friends and I did it on a whim. Everyone was so kind and gave us sandwiches, drinks, plastic when it rained - it was fabulous xx

This is a fab design Susan! Love the rosette with the sentiment and the gorgeous ribbons! It looks really good in 3D !!
The flotilla was wonderful wasn't it - I could just imagine Anne Boleyn in the Gloriana being rowed in her wedding procession - with the bells ringing away!! Wish I could time travel to Tudor times....

You have so many different creations and what Dad would not love having this special blue ribbon card. I watched all that I could of the Jubilee celebrations on the "tellie". Did you see that diamond broach the Queen was wearing? Good golly Miss Molly, I did not know such beautiful diamonds existed. How grand was that!!!
