Time to Stitch

Good morning everyone and today sees the start of a new challenge over at Delightful Challenges:

Stitching - Real or Faux

So get out your machine, needle, paper piercer or pen and add some stitching to your creations!  Here is what I have made:


I think this card would be ideal for a boy - I do find these hard to do sometimes as I always want to add girlie embellishments to my card!  Out came my trusty old sewing machine for a bit of stitching around the image and then zig zag around the card.  I have used the cute Birthday Pippin along with Ticket Sentiments which you can get here at Digital Delights.  These images are so much fun to colour in, I have coloured mine with Copics and added some Stickles to the stars.  I have matted him on a Spellbinders and used MFT Dienamics Dies for the banner and stars.  The papers are from a DCWV Citrus Stack which I have had for years and years.  This week we are being sponsored by:

    This is just tooooo cute!!! really like how you've used those papers from the Citrus stack, I've been at a bit of a loss with some of those papers and my pad has been redundant for a while but I'm inspired to get them out again! For the sunset you just left a comment on I used foam, I've never tried a brayer. x

    Brilliant card - I am so loving those colours and that banner die - well me thinks I need to have one!

    Thank you for popping by a leaving me a lovely comment - you don't even want to think about where I got hot glue and how many times I managed to melt some of the foam board - ha ha ha! The air was blue at times I can tell ya.
