Good morning and a Happy Easter to you all - may you have a day full of chocolateness wherever you are! I think mine will be chocolate free unless I can manage to get some of these mini eggs off my screen lol! We are going to my daughter and her partner's today for dinner so I am looking forward to that.
Today I have something a bit different from a card to show. As we are going to my daughter's today and then my sister's today I made a little something to go on the wine we will take. MFT dienamics have new dies out and one is to make a wine collar, I do not have the dies but I thought what a good idea and just made some free hand. These are my first attempt:
I was quite pleased with my first attempt and thought they just brightened up the bottles a bit. Here is a close up of the one I made for my daughter:
I have used Nitwits paper and Spellbinders dies. The sentiment is computer generated and the flower is Wild Orchid. Brad and ribbon from stash.
Here is a close up of the one I made for my sister:
I have used Kraft Paper and some card stock and a freebie paper from a magazine (I think HOTP). The sentiment is computer generated and I made a rosette and used Edgeabilities for the border on the rosette and also on the top of the collar. The die cuts are made with a Spellbinders die and I have used an Inkadinkado stamp for the background. I will enter the following challenges:
Craft us Crazy - Anything but a Card
DRS Designs - Food and Drink
Simon Says Stamp - Favourite Tool (that's right Big Shop Pro!!)
365 Cards - Cheers
I Brake For - Anything but a Card
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Well I have started my top for my little fish and chip baby. I only started it at about 9:30 last night but I am quite pleased with my progress so far I will post a picture when I finish. If you want to help these poor little babies in Africa please pop over to Dawny P's blog here to see how easy it is to help.
Hope you all have a lovely Easter Sunday whatever you are doing and wherever you are - take care xx
