Good morning happy bloggers and a big happy weekend to you all!! Well my fridge has gone to fridge heaven or will be when I can get rid of it. Its only 5 years old I really don't think they make things to last anymore. Its not like it had heavy use there is only two of us after all. Now my Kenwood Chef is 41 years old and still going strong (hope that's not the kiss of death for it lol) so why can't they make things like that anymore?? Enough of my moaning here is today's card:
I made this card using new goodies that I bought at the Trafford Centre Craft Event. The stamps are by Card-io Majestix called Emily's Garden. The corner thingys are Spellbinders Lace Doilly Accents and the butterfly punch is Tonic. The large butterfly punch is one I have had a while from Marianne its so pretty, I have used vellum for it. The card candy and stamps I won from Kath - thank you so much, its great because you can stamp any message out on them!! I have kept it reasonably CAS although not sure if it would actually qualify for a CAS in a challenge. Here is another view:
I decorated the envelope as well with the stamps I really like these and think they could have loads of uses and I think I will be getting another set at NEC this month if the stand is there. I would like to enter the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge - Spread Your Wings
Guylous Inimitability - Things with Wings
Crafter's Companion - Spring
Sparkles - Things with Wings
Do You Stack Up - Things with Wings
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteHi Susan
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card hun, sorry about the fridge.
I have these stamps too, bought 4 sets at the Hobbycraft show last month at Trafford Centre, the lady who sells them is based in Wigan, not far from us and she does workshops. I am sure she will be at NEC, I keep thinking should I go or not, but cannot decide.
Hugs

This is so beautiful Susan! It's quite a simple design but so pretty and delicate! I love the butterfly border and those fab corners! it's a really sweet card! :-)
ReplyDeleteoh you are so right about the quality of products! We had some Fairy Lights that my parents got in the 50's and they lasted 30 years!! and we very rarely replaced the bulbs in all that time. Not like that nowadays!! LOL
Sorry about your fridge though! 5 years is nothing!! A sign of the times!
Hope you have a good weekend!
Big Hugs!
Sue xx
