I can't believe it!

I can't believe that my son will be 36 on Monday!  It doesn't seem that long ago when I was chasing around after him like I do with his son now.  So I have made a card for him which I posted off today to make sure he gets it in time.  Stephen if you are looking at this don't look any further!! He sometimes does take a look at my blog so I don't want to spoil it for him - too late now if he has looked!!


I saw this digital image by Mo's digital pencil and thought it would be ideal for Stephen.  He used to really enjoy watching all the old black and white silent comedy films (no he's not that old!).  I coloured it with Copics and Prisma pencils and matted it onto a Spellbinder Nestie made from Kraft card.  The tickets are stamped onto Kraft card and the gears (Tim Holt) and clock (Tim Holt) are also made from Kraft card and distressed with some DI Vintage Photo. I have used some brads from my stash for the centre of the large gears and card candi for the smaller gears.  I have matted the computer generated sentiment onto a Spellbinder die and used twine to secure it.  The paper is by Bo Bunny from their Timepiece Collection.  I would like to enter into the following challenges:

    Love this, Susan! I really like all the gold and gears!!

    I'm 36 too and I feel like time is beginning to fly faster and faster! I know someday I'll be looking on in disbelief when my own children are all grown up! Thank goodness for cameras and scrapbooks so we can record all the precious memories life gives us!
