What's on Your Worktop Wednesday No. 130

Well what's on my worktop is my marathon that I have finally finished.  I think it is the reason I now have a bad back as I was so scrunched up doing it and fiddling around with it.  Has it been worth the effort and pain, well I think so, I am quietly pleased with it and did enjoy making it.  All in all it didn't take too long - about 2 1/2 days work.  It is not an original I have completely copied it from someone else.  I saw it on "Always about Colour" blog and it was done by Chris and I really liked it so I have copied it.  As it is not an original idea of my own I won't be entering any challenges with it but I can hardly wait to fill it with goodies which will be today as it is December first tomorrow - OMG!!  I did manage to have a tidy up in my craft room yesterday but you can't really it and I think its got a bit messy again, why do I bother?  Its obviously not meant to be tidy.  If you head over to the Leader of the Pack's blog, Julia you can check out the other worktops from around the world - I can guarantee its very addictive (my family always said I was a nosey parker!!).  Anyway here it is:

Right I'm off now to join in all the fun over at Julia's - see you tomorrow, take care xx

  4. Love your advent calendar - incredible amount of work gone into it. You stopped by and asked about the folders for my stamps - they are just A4 lever arch files - though I did cut the excess from the cover of one - I intend to the same to the other if I ever get 5 minutes! Happy Wednesday!!!

  5. ah this is really lovely, the intricate details when you click on it are just amazing, Susan and yes know that feeling in the back had it yesterday lie on the floor for ten minutes and it straightens out the kinks - that is what my dad does and I do now! funny that! God bless, happy WOYWW! Shaz in oz.x

  10. Great advent box Susan, love the colours and it doesn't matter that it isn't original - as they say, 'there's nothing new under the sun'.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your lovely comment. The pop-up card isn't from a CD (don't own any) I just played about with two pieces of card to make the inner 'step', stamped the houses (Crafty Individuals stamps) twice and stuck one row on the card base and the other on the step.

  25. Gorgeous Advent calendar! How they've moved on from the cardboard ones with the windows that we used to have as kids. Sorry to hear you're suffering with your back still, and hope it gets better soon.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog - I got sick of rolling the sleeves up! It wasn't hard once I got going and I'm really pleased I've done it now. I'm feeling much better today although my throat is still sore and I'm still coughing, but today I was well enough to do some creating in my ARTHaven! I think the fact that I managed it has helped me feel even better! Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #62
