Whew! I've just finished tidying up my craft room well the worktops anyway and I must say it does look better. I'll be able to take a much better picture for WOYWW this week! I've put everything back in its rightful place and found some new places for new things! I've still not managed to catgalogue my stamps that is a mammoth job and best saved for the winter me thinks (any excuse will do) plus I'm still not sure how I am going to do it. I must have found 1/2 ton of scrap paper scattered around and that's what I wanted to know - how much is too little? I keep scraps like we all do but where do you draw the line? I have itsy bitsy pieces of paper that I'm sure I will never use and even if I wanted to they are too small so I have filed them in the wastepaperbasket - hurray! To qualify for being saved a scrap had to be big enough for me to cut something out with a Nestie - mind you I do have some very small nesties, maybe I should rescue the discarded scraps - NO be strong!!
Anyway before I started my tidying I made a girlie card. Lots of pink and bling - yummy!
The stamp is by Stampavie (I think, see I knew I should have catalogued!) and I have coloured her with Copics and added Stickles to the butterfly on her foot. The papers are Nitwits. Lace, corner, butterfly and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The heart I die cut with a Nellie Snellen die and distressed with Crackle Paint and Distress Ink. The button I got from John Lewis the other day its really glittery but I don't think you can see it too well on the picture. I have embossed the butterfly and corner with a glittery pink embossing powder. I also decorated the inside:
And I also made a box as you really need to when you put flowers on a card don't you? I've got about 5 cards waiting for boxes to be made but if I don't make them the same time as the card I never seem to go back. I haven't taken a picture of the box but its got a 3D flower and 3D butterfly with bling on. I might possibly give this to my daughter for her birthday but it isn't until November so I will probably make other ones for her in between!
I will enter this card in the following challenges:
Catch the Bug - Lets get Punchy
Marks Finest Papers - Use a Punch

My rule is - if it's too small to punch a tag to use on my stall it's too small to keep.
