Journeys, Travel or Destinations

Good morning - I am finally back in the land of the living! What a fabulous week I had with my gorgeous boys.  We went on picnics to the beach and the Trough of Bowland, went to the park, barbequed and Harrison and I went to the cinema to see Monsters University.  I had a wonderful time and its so sad to see them go!  Luckily it won't be long before I see them again as Dave and I are going down in a couple of weeks to look after them whilst Mummy and Daddy go to Rome for a few days!

Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Sweet Stampin' Challenge where I am the Guest Designer for August.  The theme for this challenge is Journeys, Travel or Destinations here is the card I made:

The image is a digi from Make It Crafty which I have coloured lightly with my Copics.  The papers are Prima En Francais.  The post card is a digi from Stamping Dragon which I distressed with Antique Linen DI and wrote a sentiment on with the pc.  The Paris stamp is a Hero Arts rubber stamp I have had ages.  Behind the image is Cheery Lynn Sophia's Heart Doily - not sure if you can see it.  The image has been cut and matted using Spellbinders.  The Eiffel Tower is a Dienamics die and has had the Frantage treatment.  Seam binding and charm are from my stash.  I must admit I really enjoyed making this, isn't it funny how some cards you enjoy making?? Here is another view:

The sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Ribbons and The Ribbon Girl is the monthly sponsor!  There is also a 1000 follower candy up for grabs, have a look at the challenge for all the details!

Marianne Creatables Flourish above and below sentiment
Cheery Lynn Anastasia Border and Exotic Butterfly Small 2

Its an ice luge her husband had done for her.  She is one of my annual trip to Las Vegas buddies so he had it done in the shape of the Las Vegas sign.  It is all ice and you pour champagne down the back and it flows down the channels at the side into your mouth!!

Have a fabulous day and thank you so much for popping round to see me! Take care xx
