Cute as a Button

Good morning to you and Friday again!  I have scheduled this as I am now on my way to London for four days.  We are going to meet some friends from Arizona to show them around the capital.  I feel like I have been MIA for the month of June!  I will catch up with your blogs on my return, I do take my I Pad with me but don't usually have time to catch up with everyone.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Wags 'n Whiskers and the theme for this challenge is Cute as a Button!  Here is my card:

Don't you just love that adorable image?!! It is Ellie and Squeak available here from Wags 'n Whiskers. I have coloured it with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents to the nails lol!  The paper is Bo Bunny Alora and it has been cut using my SB Edgeabilities Classec Postage Stamp.  The sentiment is Pink Petticoat and has been cut with Dienamics Mini Tab Foursome and the edges distressed with Fired Brick DI.  The postage stamp has been cut and embossed using a Cuttlebug die and matching embossing folder, I have had these years and never been used until my DT card the other day and now this one.  A button and some twine from The Ribbon Girl to finish off.

Please go over to the challenge here to see the rest of the DT work!

Thought I would share a picture of me in Texas doing what I love - sipping a cocktail!

here is one of my husband and me - oh dear another drink in my hand!!

Now here is one of a Mexican meal I had - fried avocado stuffed with beef (I could only manage less than half) and yes I do believe there is a drink there lol:

here is a raccoon we spied when we stopped at a Tourist Information Centre you can just about see him:

I did have a couple of others but my husband has them on his pc and it doesn't want to play games!  After all that food and drink I am now on a diet before I go to Vegas for my annual girlie trip in August!

Thanks so much for popping by, see you soon and take care! xx

Hi Susan, oh my this is one cute card and equally if not more gorgeous photo's of you, beautiful lady, and your darling hubby. You both sure make a handsome couple.
In regards to the silhouette cameo..yes I love it and would not trade it for anything. I also have two cricut machines and they are no where as good as the cameo. Also you get your images/cuts from the silhouette shop for under a dollar. So yes, I know you with your crafting abilities would love this machine...it's the best thing I have ever purchased in regards to carting. I also got the ebosser but hardly use that at all as it bends my dies...let me know how you go...and if you need any help or advice...yoller...luv annie xxx

Hi Susan, great to catch up with you on Pinterest. Life has got in the way of my crafting as you could see from my blog (nothing since February). Your holiday looks amazing - that Mexican meal look like two days calories in one go... LOL. I have a CraftRobo and once you get the hang of the software easy to design with or you can buy ready made files on online. I believe that the Cameo is much better.
Hope to keep seeing you on Pinterest.
